Charlie

I had jumped at when (10 minutes before) he had slung his arm into my view. But then I was starting to fall back into light sleep. My eyes were fluttering, and I was so... Close.. And then I jumped again at the sound of his deep and soothing voice. I smiled to my self, and then stretched quietly. "Yeah, I'm awake." I finally decided to answer his question, after sitting up in the bed, and blowing the hair out of my eyes, before long, I pushed it back behind my ear, and looked around the cold and empty cell.

Ash turned and looked at her. "So you want to stay here for the rest of your life? Well I don't. I want to go home." He climbed onto the top bunk and laid down, staring at the ceiling. He didn't care what she said. He was getting out eventually.

Akira shrugged. "Good I guess," she replied. She played with some of her black feathers. She remembered when they were pure white...she sighed. She rested her head on her knees. She felt so lost.

I was happy to hear her voice brighten up. But then she asked that question... "A family..." He whispered trying not to remember it. It was a actual family that cared for me, but I was in dog form the whole time... That's what was wrong... Until I met up with my sister again, charlie. She got caught in the pound, and had to stay a cat for a long time..

Shane bit his lip. "How do you feel?" He asked softly, voice barely above a whisper. He rolled over onto his back, staring up at the ceiling. He just felt tired. He'd never really talked to a cellmate before. His old one was just a kid, but she was a very moody ShapeShifter. Charlie was friendly enough, so he figured she might talk to him. He was lonely, in a way. He was so isolated, and a lot of the Immortals preferred to be that way. He wanted to at least have a friend.

Alexis ran both hands through her hair, closing her eyes for a moment. She was tired, but like hell she was going to fall asleep in front of him. The last time was an accident, but she wasn't letting that happen again. Did the Guards do this on purpose? Did they want a vampire to lose control over fresh blood? Did they need a siren to suffer the worst fate? And was it just mere coincidence that they wanted every other Immortal to watch this? "You can't bite me, you know." She said out loud. "It'll just show everyone else how much of monsters we are, it'll prove a point we don't belong." She muttered. Alexis stood up, thinking. "I hate your kind, more than you can imagine. I could be shunned forever if we ever escaped, but... I want - I need a truce. Are you willing?" She looked at him carefully. "Even if you aren't, just think about it. We really are going to be stuck together for the next century."

Ash looked over the side pf the bed at her. "A truce? So i don't bite you, you don't drown me?...hmm....fair enought. Truce." He held out his hand to her to shake on it. His gold eyes watched her for any sign that she was up to no good. He thought about what she had said. How would she be shunned for escaping? Thats stupid, he thought.

I looked up in his direction for a second, and then I pushed myself up against the wall. I thought about his question. I mean, considering I'm in a hole, that question was a little hard to answer. I found the courage inside of me to think about that question. "Yeah.." I said, answering his question. I thought about that, I knew it was true, because I was with what I now considered a friend. "Are you?" I asked in a more happier tone of voice.
