Akira tilted her head. "Like...your parents? And siblings?" She pulled herself up onto the bed by him. Her wing brushed his leg but she didn't notice. She sat crosslegged on the bed and watched him.

I shivered as her black wing brushed against my leg. I looked down at the floor beneath me. "Like... I was pet..." I found the courage to answer. I hadn't thought about that in a long time.. My boy, Kenneth, had died from cancer, and they didn't know what to do with me, so I got left out one night, and I walked away... What a stupid mistake.

Akira blinked. "Oh...I'm sorry..." she looked down. "Well...you still had someone to love you...right? Like...did you live with any siblings? Or were you the only pet?" She wanted to know more about him. She knew that she felt better when she told someone about her past.

Ash smiled a little. "Yes. I won't attack you. I promise." He laid back again and resumed staring at the ceiling. He did hope they would bring him some blood though before he couldn't keep his promise anymore.

Shane groaned. "I have a headache. But I'm all-over all, fine, thanks for asking." He said softly, rolling off his bed. He stood up and looked at her for a moment.

Alexis bit her lip. "How old are you?" She asked curiously.

Ash bit his lip. "Eighteen." He said. Sure it wasn't his real age, but he did look eighteen. He hoped she wouldn't know he was lying. He stared at a crack in the ceiling as if it was the most interesting thing in the world.

I didn't say anything for a long time. "It was just me.." I started off, trying to think of what to actually say. "My sister and I got seperated, and she ran off. I got caught in the pound, as a dog, and had to stay there. I got adopted, and my boy... He um...." I sighed. "He died..." I whimpered under my breath.

Charlie

I looked at him as he jumped from the bed. I stood up, after forcing myself to get out of my comfortable position. I stood in front of him. Locked in his eyes. "I'm sorry to hear that." I said, referring to his headache.

Akora frowned. "I'm sorry..." Not thinking twice she leaned over and gave him a hug. "As you said, everything will get better. It'll be okay." She let go and leaned back again.

I coughed for a second, and then patted her back. Man, she had a really strong sent. I breathed in when she let go. "Thanks.." This was going to be hard, if she was going to do this a lot...

Alexis raised an eyebrow. "When were you bitten, then? I'm not asking your appearance age." Alexis asked, curious to see how he would answer. She highly doubted he was eighteen. She had an excuse, being seventeen as a siren. But if he were eighteen, he would be a newborn. He looked eighteen, so what excuse was his? Alexis would probably still be fighting him off, he would definitely be still a little blood-crazed. Even after a year, and then he'd be nineteen. She had a test, to see if he were lying. It was simple, and she'd put it to use if she needed to.

Shane smiled. "It's fine. I think it just naturally comes with all the noise." He murmured, even though it was still pretty quiet in their cell. He brushed past her, sitting on her bed instead. "I don't like it here." He grinned. "Do you? It's so... dull. Except, now you're here, so you add a little more color and light to everything. I think our cell is the best decorated."

I blushed. "Well... Gosh..." I smiled, blushing still. "Thanks." I smiled again. I kissed his cheek. Not knowing what else to say.

Shane smiled at her. "Well, you've certainly gotten comfortable around me." He sighed, putting a finger up and letting a zap of light escape. "What's your favorite color?" He asked curiously, looking up at her again.

Ash wasn't ready to say his real age. "Fine..I'm nineteen." He tried to block her out, think about something else. He stared at the crack again, tracing every little curve it made with his eyes. He glanced nervously over the bed, hoping she would give up. He wasn't proud of how old he was.

Akira frowned a little at his response. Maybe he didn't like hugs...or maybe he just didn't loke her. She sighed and stood up. She sat on the floor again, farther away this time though. She said nothing and looked out through the bars, avoiding his eyes.

I smiled at him. I wanted to do it again for some reason. I stared at the light in awe. I wondered if he did this all the time. I thought about the question. "Um... Green." I smiled.

Marcus

I stared at her. I didn't know why she left, or why she got up. I whimpered, and then leaned against the wall again.

Alexis grimaced. "How were you turned then? It's very difficult and very rare to be bitten by a vampire out there.... You know that crack leads to no where. Remember the magic laced in each brick?" She sat on the bed by him, biting her lip. "Almost everybody is over a century old, and by the time we get moved again we'll both be over a century, anyways. You can't be so young."

Shane raised an eyebrow. "My eyes are green." He grinned, sitting up and leaning forward on his knees. "Favorite animal?" He questioned, wanting to know more about his cellmate. He may as well get it all down by now, they'd be spending time together and maybe he might enjoy that time. He hadn't had a friend, he hadn't had anyone for a while. He wanted to know some one for once.

Akira sighed kind of shakily like she was on the verge of crying. "If you don't like me you can just tell me,"she said softly. She looked at her dark wings, a reminder that she was not a good angel. She hated them. She loved flying but not with these wings. Were they the reason he didn't like her? She grabbed part of one wing and dug her nails into it. They were ruining her life. Everyone would not trust her now. Thats probably why he didn't sleep. Because she was a fallen angel. She was a bad girl, all from one little mistake.

Ash looked away from her. "I was bitten though...by my adopted father. He was a doctor and i was a patient on the verge of death. He thought i had potential...so he turned me...i was eighteen at the time. That was a long time ago...almost 100 years...I'm 102." He remembered that day now. He had been drifting in and out of consciousness. Then came the pain, then everything was so clear. He didn't want to remember the details of it.

"One hundred and two, huh? Adopted father was a vampire and you're on the edge of death?" She snorted. "That's a little Twilight, isn't it? But it's a somewhat sucky past. That was your last memory of humanity." She bit her lip. "What's it like?" She ran a hand through her hair, leaning back. She was on the edge of the bed, opposite side from him. She leaned back. She wouldn't have to test his lie.

I smiled. "I think it would be best if i just showed you." I grinned and backed up from him. I started to shift, being a shape shiftier had it's advantages. The shift was fast, and almost painless. When I would up on the floor, I stared at him. My fluffy fox tail swished in the air. I sat down on my butt, with my tail wrapped around my tiny paws.

Ash snorted,"where do you think they got that story from?" He chuckled. "Well...my vision is a lot better now. Everything's brighter, in the dark i could see perfectly. Well..all my senses are stronger. I can run really fast, super strong...its like i was bitten by some...like..super radioactive spider or i was dumped in toxic waste." He laughed softly.

I looked at her, and got off the bed. I put a hand on her shoulder. "I haven't been a human in a while. A hug is not what I would have expected." I said, trying to be the gentle dog I am. I stared at her. "I do like you.." I whispered and smiled.

Akira blinked away a few tears then looked up and smiled a little. "Okay..." She let go of her wing and looked at the bloody marks left on it. She sighed and stood up. She blinked, wow he was tall. Not like super tall, but maybe almost a head taller.

Alexis shook her head. "No, what was it like being human? Not the change, but just being so." She tilted her head, staring at him for a moment. She was always a siren, and that would never ever change.

Shane's eyes widened. "Holy shit." He swore for probably the first time ever. He grinned, picking her up immediately and cradling her in his lap. "You're sooo cute. Please don't bite me." He was careful in hugging her, knowing she was still a fox and her animal mind was more in control. He kissed the top of her head, trying not to squeeze her as he cuddled her.
