Akira's eyes flashed with hurt and fury and she knew Sam was getting pissed off to. Akira lunged forward to slap Madelyn and they started throwing punches. Sam quickly got between them and pulled them apart. Akira glared at her sister. She was turning to swim away when she saw Madelyn lunge at Sam. Madelyn wasn't sure what she intended to do to Sam, whether it was to kiss him or punch him but either way she lunged at him and ended up on his back. Akira growled deep in her throat and ripped Madelyn off of his back. Soon they were rolling on the sandy floor, punching eachother and pulling hair, clawing and kicking. It was a full out cat fight. Akira scratched Madelyn's arms and cut her face and Madelyn busted Akira's lip and punched her under her eye then right on her nose. Akira gasped in pain and Sam grabbed them apart. She saw him lean down to look at her and she felt ashamed. She must look terrible now. She looked down and started to cry although her tears were washed away in the water. All was left of her crying was her sobs of physical pain and emotional hurt. She barely heard Sam tell Madelyn to leave. His voice was quiet and oddly scary. This was a whole different side of him that Akira had never seen. Madelyn had obviously crossed the line...but so had she.

As soon as Madelyn had left, he turned to Akira, kneeling down beside her and taking her in his arms. He stroked the back of her head(if that makes sense) occasionally kissing the cheek that didn't have a bruise. After a few minutes, he gently lifted Akira, one arm under her s shoulders, the other under her knees. He walk/swam into the sub and set her down on his bed before going to the front of the submarine to get the first aid kit. Back at his bed, he carefully dabbed some stuff on her lip and cuts and then got her tissues, for her nose. Finished, he took Akira's face in hishands and gently kissed the spot slightly above her upper lip, not wanting her busted lip to bleed again. He felt horrible. No doubt, she had jumped on Madelyn the second time because she was on his back. Sure, it was must likely partly out of anger but.... She wouldn't look so....beat up if he had just ignored the flash of motion he had seen. He kissed her again, but this time on her cheek. "oh Akira..." he muttered, almost inaudibly, "Are you alright?" he asked, talking abit louder this time and looking into her eyes sadly.

Akira was shaking from shock. Muffled sobs escaped her every once in a while. She stared at him with a distant look in her eyes as if she were looking but not really seeing. Her eyes were clouded over with pain and distrust. She had never had this happen before. This had been her first fight. She shuddered and her vision cleared. She noticed Sam staring at her. She was sitting on his bed. She glanced around, unsure of when they had gotten in here. She was aware of him asking if she was alright. She managed a quick nod before breaking down and sobbing again. She fell back against the pillows and curled up into a ball, sobbing quietly. She was traumatized.

I had an idea. What if when merpeople die they die for a few minutes or longer then come back and can have angel wings and a tail. and like. theres another big fight between ash and madelyn and well everyone and like, akira ends up dying and stuff. O__O weird idea.

Sam sighed and say next to Akira, looking down at her with worry. He turned her back gently, not really knowing what else to do. Eventually, he lay next to her, his arms wrapped around her protectively. He hoped she would be okay-it just him seeing her hurt.

Okay so my idea is that once Ash finds out from Madelyn that Sam and Akira are engaged he gets pissed and goes to fight Sam then Madelyn joins in trying to fight Akira and they all end up getting really violent and then Madelyn goes too far and kills Akira and everyone's like O___e and she's dead for....a few minutes or some different amount of time and then she fades away until she's gone then she comes back and she has wings and a tail (but the wings can disappear like her tail does) and yeah :P And merpeople can die a bunch of times and each time they die their wings become a new color.

And ooooh good idea with Sam! :D water immortal thing. I LOVE IT

Akira's sobs soon turned into soft whimpers as she snuggled up to Sam. He made her feel so much better. She eventually stopped sniffling and was silent. She wrapped her arms around his neck and sighed deeply. "I'm sorry Sam...I'm a mess." She stated glumly. She wiped her eyes and looked up at the ceiling. "Do I look terrible?" She whispered, touching her eye. She winced when she touched the bruise. She felt pretty banged up, but she knew that she would heal fast. Already she could feel her broken nose healing itself since mermaids healed quickly.

Sam kissed her cheek, glad she was done crying. "Oh, please don't apologize Akira....no, babe, don't worry about that. You are so beautiful" he said quietly, hoping she had that immortal healing power thing like he did. "Akira..." He paused with a sigh, "I-I need to tell you something. It's not right to keep this secret, especially since we're getting married and..you told me what you are" He sat up, Akira hugging his side. He kissed the top of her head. "I-uhh..I'm a.."

Hmm....*steals thinking cap from Kitty and puts it on my head* He could be like...a sea god? Um...still thinking

And yus he would fall to his knees and be all like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....when should this take place?

Akira smiled. "Sam you are too sweet. I know I look pretty banged up." She said with a giggle. She stroked his hair as she listened to him. She paused, confusion in her eyes, when he said he had a secret that he needed to tell her about. Was this a bad secret? Or a good secret? She sat up, watching him. She frowned. "Is this a good or bad secret, Sam?" She asked. He started talking again saying he was a...what was he? Was he going to say he was a vegetarian or something? That would be a little weird considering he ate meat. She thought of all the possibilities, although none of them strayed past being human.

Sam bit his lip as she asked if it were a good secret or a bad one, "Akira, you know I would have slipped up by now if it was a bad one." He said, giving her another kiss with a small laugh. "No, my dear, is a...neutral secret..." with a sigh, he lifted his hand and swirled his finger around. A little whirlpool appeared right outside the subs window. "You're not the only immortal one..." He said hesitantly, watching for her reaction. He continued, "I can control small forces of the sea.." He stopped there, looking down at Akira, still biting his lip.

Lol mmm...i dunno. After breakfast?

Akira scrambled backwards and fell off the bed in shock. "WHAT?!" She cried. She wasn't mad she was just really confused. "Okay tell me you're kidding...." She pleaded, biting her lip. Was he seriously an immortal too? This was too weird! She ran her fingers through her hair, still sitting on the floor. "This is not happening. I thought you were human?! Why didn't you tell me?!" She exclaimed, extremely confuzzled. She stood up and started pacing, trying to take it all in. Sam.....an immortal?!

Sam was surprised by her reaction. He hadn't expected her to be so shocked. He looked down, feeling the heat rising to his ears. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you before Akira.." He said, pulling his knees up to his chest with a sigh. He glanced up and saw her pacing. It made him feel worse. He buried his head in his knees, not looking at Akira. "I don't know. I guess for the same reason you didn't tell me that you're a mermaid," he said,a bit defensively. "Fear of being rejected? Laughed at?" He said, resting his chin on his kneecaps and looking at Akira sadly. She looked so beaten up. He wasn't sure he had picked the right time to tell her.

Akira stopped pacing, sensing that it was making him uncomfortable. She bit her lip. "I'm sorry Sam...I'm overreacting." She ran her fingers through her hair. She sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She repeated over and over again. She knew she should have told him earlier but she had been afraid to tell him for those exact reasons. She didn't want to be rejected or laughed at. She sighed. "But Sam. Why would you be rejected or laughed at for being immortal around me?" She frowned. Did he think she was that judgemental. She sat down next to him and wrapped her arms around him in a hug. She knew she was making him feel horrible and she didn't want him to feel like that. "I'm so sorry. I don't know why I'm reacting like this." She shook her head sadly. "Really. Your power is amazing. It's so cool that you're immortal too."

It made Sam feel worse that she was apologizing, but he didn't say anything. As she gave him a hug, he returned the gesture. "Akira, I don't know." He said, looking down at her sadly. "I really don't. But in all honesty, my parents don't even know what i am...they adopted me when i was supposedly 14 and a half." He paused, listening to get last comment. He smiled slightly, "Yeah. I guess it is pretty cool. We can be together forever. Literally" he smiled at the thought. "Will, enough being sad. Let's go eat breakfast" He said, starting to get up. "What would you like for our special breakfast?" he asked

Akira bit her lip. "Then how old are you?" She asked, tilting her head. Knowing he was immortal changed a lot. Did he lie about his age too? She frowned. There was a lot she didn't know about him. "Any other secrets before we go to breakfast?" She asked, tilting her head and smiling encouragingly. "And hmm....maybe something like...bacon, eggs, toast, etc." She played with the edge of the blanket on the bed. "We should find a house to live in while we're here in Atlantis. I mean, we have this sub but wouldn't it be nice to have a house, too?"

Sam frowned slightly when she asked if there were any other secrets. "No. There are no other secrets,K. You know i wouldn't hide anything from you...Oh, I'm 119" he said, shrugging slightly. They were about the same age. "Bacon, eggs and toast it is." He said, starring to walk into the kitchen. He paused, hearing her speak again. He laughed, "Yes. I'm getting tired of living in this grungy thing" he's said with a smile. Then he went to prepare breakfast with a small sigh. He knew she was just wondering but he felt like he had broke her trust.

When he finished making breakfast, He walked to the back of the sub. "It's ready" he said, giving her his hand and leading her to the kitchen table. He put her plate on the table then sat down across from her, beginning to eat.

Akira smiled a little, glad that their ages were close. "I'm older!" She said triumphantly. She giggled. "But that's okay." She sat down at the table across from him. "Want to look for houses in Atlantis later?" She asked, taking a bite of her food. It was so good! He was such a good cook. Even with this new discovery, she still wanted to marry him because if anything it made her love him more. Now they could be together forever! She wouldn't have to worry about him growing old and her staying young. She should have noticed the signs sooner. After all, he could breathe underwater.

"If you want to, my dear" Sam answered, smiling. When they were dome eating, he led her outside with a mischievous smile. He pulled her into a hug, then swirled his finger behind her back. A whirlpool swirled around them. He pulled away with a smile, still making the whirlpool spin harmlessly. He chuckled and let it slowly slow down before vanishing altogether.He grinned at Akira, "I've always wanted to do that" he said happily, taking her hand.

Akira smiled and followed him outside when they had finished breakfast. She watched in awe as he spun a whirlpool around them without harming them. "Wow Sam....that's amazing..." She said, truly amazed. She hugged him. "You are really special, you know that?" She poked the whirlpool. "Hmmmm this is so weird." She poked it again and then he made it disappear. "Wow. So cool." She gave him a loving kiss.

Sam smiled, "shall wet go look at houses?" He asked happily,not knowing a fight lay ahead

Akira smiled. "Sure! Let's go look!" She slipped her hand in his and pulled him towards the town, not knowing what lay ahead. She saw Ash ahead and smiled. "Hey Ash!" Ash turned, a look of fury in his eyes. He charged at Sam and ripped him away from Akira. He knocked him to the ocean floor and began punching and hitting him. Akira screamed. "ASH! STOP!" Ash ignored her. Akira moved in to pull them apart when she was attacked from behind by Madelyn. They rolled on the ground, throwing punches at eachother.

Sam grinned as he was pushed to the floor. He threw punches blindly, just wanting to get back to Akira. His head snapped back as Ash hit him on the nose. Great. Now they both had banged up noses. He managed to swirl his finger, throwing Ash off of him with a whirlpool. Painting, he stood, bleeding in several places. He had time to glance at Akira before he was attacked again. "Akira!" He scrambled, seeing Madelyn on top of her.She was not taking it easy at all.He had to quickly turn his attention back to Ask, though, and hope Akira would be alright

Akira saw something glint in Madelyn's hand. She saw the insanity in her sister's eyes. She looked at what was in her hand and saw a knife. "NO!" She cried as Madelyn raised her arm. She brought her arm down and the knife stabbed Akira in the heart. Akira screamed in agony. Madelyn twisted the blade, sinking it deeper in her chest. She sat back and grinned in triumph. Akira kept screaming, grabbing blindly at the knife lodged in her heart. She knew she was dying. She didn't have much longer.

Sam and Ash momentarily stopped fighting at Akira's horrible scream. Sam was standing above ash, but when he saw Akira's, his eyes widened and he dropped to his knees. He crawled over to Akira, tears in his eyes. He took her hand and kissed her one last time as she slipped away into death. He vowed his head, tears falling. Ash seemed surprised as well. He lifted his head,a new glint in his eyes as he lunged at Madelyn. He WOULD get revenge

Madelyn hissed at Sam like a mad cat when he lunged at her. She yanked the knife out of Akira and pointed it at Sam. "Don't get any closer!" She warned, wielding the knife. Ash looked shocked. He was kneeling beside Akira, his mouth open in horror. Akira felt Sam's lips touch hers then leave as she slipped into the dark nothingness of death. Madelyn backed up slowly, still pointing the knife at Sam. "I'm not afraid to kill you too." She whimpered, her voice shaking. She couldn't believe she had killed her own sister.

Sam grabbed the knife out of Madelyn hands, faster than her, and then tossed it to the side, his fists clenched. He ignored the whimper, and a small sea-storm began working behind him. Without a word, he pounced on top of Madelyn, like a dog catching that mad cat. He had punched her a few times when Ash pulled them apart. Now Sam seemed to be the insane one.His eyes glinted dangerously as he turned to face ash silently.

Ash shook his head gravely at Sam. "It's not worth it. Revenge won't bring Akira back." He noticed movement out of the corner of his eye and looked at Akira. Her body was slowly disappearing. It was shimmering like a hologram and then it was gone. A strangled sob burst from Ash. "She's gone..." He whispered. He looked down, holding back tears. Madelyn was furious when he outsmarted her and tried to shield herself as Sam punched her. She looked up when Ash said that Akira was gone. She looked and saw that he was right. Her body had disappeared.
