Ethan was out of sight, and right then Devon hadn't really been thinking. He grabbed her shoulders, gentle as usual, and kissed her. Pressing his lips to hers in the so familiar way, it felt nice again. Alexandria was his heroin, and Celestina was like his escape from it all. His arms wrapped fully around her like they used to and he held onto her. This was probably their last kiss. He wanted it to last.

She had so many words that would have been censored on cable TV if Devon hadn’t kissed her. How could she not have realized how much she loved it? Celestina wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back. Two guys in one day? She felt so dirty. But, Devon, he had always been hers and having him ripped away in the course of an hour? It hurt, her heart was still broken. Nothing both of the boys did could fix it. And let’s say Devon was telling the truth about Ethan. She could finally feel loved again to have it taken away once more? Celestina didn’t want to feel that. It made her stomach churn with sickness. But here was Devon. The same old Devon she’d known for centuries. He was…kissing her. And you know what? She was kissing him back. She missed it so much, a couple tears even slipped from her eyes(Uh..). Her fingers curled into his dark brown hair. Maybe she did love him as a brother but there’d always be something else. Something else telling her she made the wrong decision with Ethan. It would always be there to haunt her.
