Alexander Jared Famore
He looked up at her and smiled softly. But, he stood up anyways on his branch. Reaching over and wrapped his arms around waist and hugged her. Their two branches were too far apart and he wanted to hug her close so she’d feel better. See? Alex has feelings. Lifting her off of her feet, he brought her over to his branch and hugged her close to her chest. “Better?” He asked, kissing her hair before letting her go. Ah, it was fun while it lasted (: Oh well.

Mercy closed her eyes and attempted to wrap her arms around Alexander as much as she could. She leaned into him, sitting on his branch now. It was difficult, but she managed, and kept quiet. She bit her lip, still holding onto him. It felt like, that if she let go, the world would float up and leave her behind in the dark. She nodded, quiet. Mercy rested her head on his shoulder, thinking. "I'm... also sorry about Devon. He was so horrible to you." She mumbled, not looking at him. She did feel embarrassed about her father, though. Alexander wasn't exactly the victim, considering he'd fought back, but Mercy still knew her father had started the fight. If Mercy could blush, she would, thinking back to the kiss. Alexander wouldn't mind if she kissed him again? She was almost afraid to. But if he kissed her... she'd definitely kiss back. She still couldn't believe what had happened. There was too much fighting going on in her life. She had just escaped prison after the most delightful and bloody battle in the world. At the same time, so many people died. Then, there was the fight between Devon and Alexander over a silly little kiss. Except, it wasn't that silly, or really little. It was rather huge to herself, and serious. The final was between Celestina and Alexandria. She hated Celestina. It was a natural thing. She just didn't like the girl. Not exactly because Devon loved her, more, she felt because he loved her more than he loved Mercy. And the fact they were supposed to get married? Don't think she didn't hear. She was a vampire! Of course she heard! Devon shouldn't go back to Alexandria, Mercy thought. But she most certainly shouldn't go to a child instead!

Dani bit her lip. "Ash..." Dani began, holding onto his hand tightly. "They're not angry at you." Dani stated simply, giving him a sideways glance as they walked. Dani's face showed her pain, despair, mourning, but also hope. "They're... basically angry at your race. The two - they don't know who killed Eric. I don't, either. Love, I know it wasn't you. You were practically by my side almost the entire time during the fight and everything since." Dani leaned over and kissed his cheek. She then frowned. "Ash, you don't think I think you bit him, right? I know my brothers, and they wouldn't blame you. Both are sensible enough to know that there is no way you could've bitten Eric. And I thought you knew me..." She said quietly, letting go of his hand and looking down. She was a bit upset. She trusted him, didn't she? Dani wasn't the type to blame people. She could hold a grudge, depending on the situation, but she could also forgive. Right now, if Ash apologized, she'd probably forgive him. But it wasn't like she was going to today. At least, she'd still be a little mad at him for the day.

He shrugged, “It doesn’t matter. I get it. He hasn’t seen you in so long..if I was a father I’d probably do the same thing..” He said, resting his chin on her head. “Just know that it isn’t your fault… okay?” He asked, pulling away so he could look her in the face. Alexander bit his lip, he still wanted to kiss her. Mercy held her head low, but Alexander put a finger on her chin and lifted her face to his. Yep, he was defiantly(My fail spelling) going to kiss her :3. Alexander leaned forward and pressed his lips to hers, wrapping his arms around her waist, delicately. They were alone. No Devon to disturb them, just Mercy and Alexander. It was actually, the first kiss they both would have wanted. No yelling, just quiet sweet bliss. It meant so much to Alexander. He never thought a month ago that he would be kissing his cellmate, well, former cellmate. But here they were and it was heaven. Was this what heaven was like? Alexander would never know. He was one o the eternally damned. He’d go to Hell if ever killed.Alexander pulled away from the kiss and looked Mercy straight in the eye. Yesterday they were arguing like brother and sister. Now, it was so much more now. They were making out in a tree for God’s sake. “What does this mean?” He asked, pressing his forehead to hers. “It’s so..confusing?” Was that even the right word, he wondered. They were still very close, she was basically in her lap. If Alexander and Mercy were ever to be together, Devon could never know. It would be Hell if he knew. Devon would surly murder him.

Mercy still looked down. Would Alexander really be that way with his kid? It was interesting. When he kissed her, everything suddenly felt better. Alexander was... wonderful, completely wonderful. The feeling of his lips on hers was enough to make her non-beating heart leap. She loved how close she felt to him, how warm she was for the first time in her entire life. She wrapped her arms around his neck loosely, tilting her head to the side as she kissed him back enthusiastically. "How, exactly? And what does, what mean? Us? Well, I like you. It seems you like me..." She said, kissing him again softly. "It's pretty simple." She smiled, playing with the hair near his neck. Being so close to Alexander, she could make out his pupil perfectly, the shape. He had really long eyelashes up close, or a lot of eyelashes. She wasn't sure which. His eyes... They were even nicer to look at up close. Mercy's own wide green eyes looked nice, the color nicely comparing to the lively green of the leaves surrounding the two. Closer, you could see the light brown flecks in them. Actually, they were more of a dark brown - the exact same shade Devon's eyes were. Mercy shifted even closer to Alexander, hugging him. She rested her chin on his shoulder, closing her eyes. She was perfectly content with staying right there for a while. She didn't even need to say anything, or listen. It was nice to just be with Alexander all together.

He sat down on the branch and pulled Mercy into his lap. “Yes, I do like you. I like you a lot.” He said, running his fingers through her hair. So, so very close. Alexander pressed a kiss to her jawbone. “But..” He started, resting his chin on her head again, “If we’re together…we can’t let Devon know.. Let’s face it Mercy, your Dad hates me like he hated that prison. ‘Cept, I’m worse. I’m dating his daughter.” He said with a chuckle that rumbled his chest. Then he fell quiet, silently pondering the thought of him and Mercy together. Yes, it would be tricky. But the real question was: Was it worth it? He thought it over for a minute. It was true he didn’t love her, but maybe he would with time. But he really did like her a lot. He thought about it a minute longer, Yea, it was worth it. Mercy was, well Mercy. She was like him. A cold hearted damned soul set to rain in Hell after we died. Oh couldn’t he fit in that old saying? What was it? Heaven was hell without you? Probably would be if he ever got there. Alexander rubbed Mercy’s back gently, twirling her hair around his fingers. It was so silky smooth, even more so then it looked. He gave a soft smile to himself and closed his eyes, just relishing the moment. How long has it been since he’d been with someone he really cared about? A hundred years or so? Whatever it was…it was really nice.
