I have a right to hold onto the girl I never got to raise. Last time I saw her she was just a baby. And who do you think you are?! I'm her father! You, kid, have only known her for two weeks! This is my daughter." He blinked, biting his lip hard. "How would you like it if I took you by your f___ing ears and flew you up into the sky more than a hundred feet high. What would happen if I dropped you? You may be a vampire but... so close to the sun and all." He hissed, taking a step closer.

She bit her lip. That was it. Mercy wasn't the type to just stand there and watch people fight. She also wasn't the one screaming and begging everyone to stop. She actually stepped in and stopped it. Mercy rubbed the back of her neck, watching anxiously for a moment. "Stop," She said loudly, but she wasn't yelling. She stepped directly in between them, placing a hand on each of their chests and nudging them away from eachother. "Devon... You're my dad. I get that you want to have the chance to... well, raise me. I'm sorry you missed that but you've got to get that I'm seventeen. Seventeen never going to be able to be eighteen. No matter what, I'll always be 17 now. It can't be changed. You may not have matured, obviously, but that doesn't mean I won't. I'm just as much an adult as you are. Getting upset over a freaking kiss... Dad. Seriously?" She shook her head and looked over at Alexander, grimacing. "You're turn. First and last, don't talk to him like that. He's a pain in the ass, and all, but come on. Be the bigger person. He's my dad. Don't talk to him like that." Mercy raised an eyebrow. "You want to fight, fine. But just realize that while you're fighting right now, there are probably surviving Patrols recruiting new Mortals to hunt us down. We still have the same enemy here. And if you seriously do throw a punch... I don't care anymore. I've done what I can." She shrugged, stepping back and walking away. Mercy shook her head, walking over to Ethan. He looked confused. Mercy smiled slightly. Ethan was always right next to the action without knowing it, and missing it all. She sat down next to him and the two started to talk, while Ethan would shoot glances at the others, still a bit confused.

Celestina Maria Mantra
About mid-fight between the two boys, the female fallen backed away. Celestina never liked fights, and never would. Devon knew that about her. He was probably the only one who understo- well, maybe not. Whenever someone was messing with her, he always lost his temper and either got into a verbal fight, or a physical fight with them. Sometimes, when he came back to check on her, you could tell he got the brunt of the fight. Nevertheless, Celestina was always there to tend to his wounds, weather he needed an ice-pack, or a band aid, she would help. Casually, Celestina leaned against a tree and recalled the time it first happened..

It was probably a September day, first day of school maybe. Devon walked Celestina to her first day of 1st grade. Celestina was nervous but Devon held her hand and told her it would be okay. She was only six at the time and Devon was nine, going on ten. No, he didn’t propose to her yet. He was walking her across the playground towards the school building, showing her what he remembered from his years in 1st grade. Each time he pointed something out, Celestina’s nervousness dimmed down little by little. But, it came the time for both of them to go to class. Recalling with a laugh, she clung to his arm like a little child not wanting him to leave her alone with all the other kids. Devon laughed as he gently pried her away and told her he’d see her at recess. Celestina pouted and reluctantly walked into the classroom with her ‘My Little Pony’ Backpack on and took and seat, shaking the whole time. When it came time for recess, Celestina ran outside so fast you’d think she make a face plant into the floor. She skidded to a stop at the door to the playground and her eyes scanned around for Devon. And there he was like he had promised this morning, standing casually with his hands in his pockets. Celestina ran to him excitedly and threw her tiny little arms around his waist. He chuckled at her, but she was still mad that he left her ALL ALONE in 1st grade. I mean who does that? (XD) Celestina took his hand and tugged him over to the sandbox. “I really, really, really, really want to make a pretty castle for you and me. Prince and princess of all the fairies!” She said plopping down on her bottom. She was wearing a little white dress with sunflowers all over and with little pockets on both sides. Devon rolled his eyes and sat cross-legged next to her. Celestina grabbed to buckets, a purple one and a green one. Of course, she kept the purple one and she gave Devon the green one. Boys like green, don’t they? Celestina started shoveling sand into her bucket and so did Devon. They made a whole wall of castles and Celestina was grinning from ear to ear, “It’s be-“ That’ s when a foot came down on two of them. She looked up tears threatening to spill over her eyes. Standing up she balled her hands into fists and said in her squeaky little girls voice, “Hey mister! What do you think you’re doing? You just destroyed my fairy princess c-“ the boy pushed her down back onto her bottom. That’s when the tears spilled over and she started crying. Devon stood up and pushed the boy out of the sandbox, “What the heck(Nooo I am not allowing him to have a colorful language in middle school :u) do you think you’re doing?” He said, giving the boy a little shove again. He shrugged and backed up, “Just trying to have a little fun, man.” Devon didn’t find this funny what so ever. He gave the boy another push, “Yea? Making a little six year old cry is considered funny?” He said. Devon pushed him again and the boy gave a scowl, “Touch me again and see what happens.” He warned. Devon pushed him again, “What you gunna do sick your friends on m-“ The boys fist connected with Devon’s cheek bone. It startled him and he doubled back, not falling. But there was going to be a nasty bruise there in the morning. Devon snarled and lunged at the boy , he got a good punch on his upper jaw but the boy punched him again and this time Devon went down. “Crow!” Celestina cried as she scrambled over. “Are you okay?” She asked, lifting his head up.

And that’s where Celestina cut the memory short when someone tapped her shoulder. She turned around expecting to find Devon, but it was Alexandria. “What the Hell do YOU want?” She asked, her voice still holding venom. But she wasn’t mad anymore. It was just Devon, the way he’d always be.

Alexandria Veronica Rattason
She pursued her brightly covered lips and put her hands on her hips. “Over here throwing a hissy fit because Devon’s not giving you all the attention for once?” She asked, not expecting an answer.

Celestina Maria Mantra
She rolled her eyes at the girl, “If that were true don’t you think I would be over there telling Devon off?” She asked, batting her pretty eyelashes. “You’re still ticked that you can’t have him anymore isn’t that i-“

Alexandria Veronica Rattason
She didn’t want to here anymore of how she lost Devon to some girl like this. Alexandria cut her off by throwing a punch at her pretty little face.

Celestina Maria Mantra
She clutched her face and scowled at her, that’s when it all started. Celestina threw a punch at her face in return, a blue flower blossomed forming a bruise. That’s when the fight started and Alexandria tackled Celestina.
