Devon watched her; with the same old, solemn face. He looked at her thoughtfully "Nature tends to get ugly after a while. It's better that you stand out as the nice freak in a group of assholes than otherwise." He murmured quietly . Devon looked at her, seeming somewhat amused. "When we were, what, six? I proposed to you. Gave you a ring from my mother's jewelry box. We had to return it, but we remained married for a while. Man, I'd like to say you'd remember that of all things but..." Devon shrugged, raising a hand and holding onto a bar. "I remember all the stupid Stuff we used to do. I mean, everyone is married at six; divorced at seven." He ducked his head, grinning. Devon's side was lightly pressed against the bars now. He figured Celestina might've also forgotten the bad days, which mostly included both of them throwing up from eating something or running away from some one. He looked at her again, not blinking. He blew some hair out of his eyes, eyes still glued to her.

I looked at the other side of the cell. I saw a man growling. I rolled my blue eyes, a shape shifter. Of course. I just had to get paired up with one of them. I looked outside the cell, starring into the distance. I sighed, I began chipping some paint off the wall. It looked really hideous.

He sat in a corner, watching the girl. He rose an eyebrow, sure she wasn't paying attention to him. He wondered what were the words she sang. Shane never understood the language all these people seemed to speak. Considering he only knew a few himself, he couldn't help but feel afraid. Shane rubbed his hands together, his fingertip sparking, lighting up. His black hair fell into his eyes as he looked down at his hands with concentration. His focus had switched away from the girl. His grey eyes were glued to the lgiht he was creating.
