Kay: She smiled watching him. He looked like he was having a good time, untill he came over and looked at his phone "Why dont we start getting ready and such? So you'll be there on time." climbing out she sat on the side and grabbed her towl from her bag and dried off. He then dissapeared into the water again and she giggled. Once she dried off, she put her dress back on. Trying to also dry her hair alittle. It was damp.

Damon swam back to the bank and hopped out walking back over to where his stuff and and pulled out a towl. He dried inself off, but didn't chance again. He stuffed his stuff back into the bag and walked over to his little brother shaking him lightly. " Jay get up, we need to get going home." The little boy opened his blue eyes and looked at him brother giving a small nod before he got up and folded the towl. He walked over and put the towl in the bag. King trotted after him and got a drink from the lake before walking over to Damon and nudging his hand. Damon patted the dogs head and finshed putting things away. He hadden his brother and offered one to her before drinking one for himself.

Damon looked down at his phone when it went off. damon sighed and picked it up. " Hello?" .... " We are leaving now." .... " A lake in the woods why?" .... " I don't know." .... " Yeah he went swimming." .... " Yes, some one I go to school with." ... " Kaylee." ... " Yes." .... " K bye." ... " Yes dad." Damon rolled his eyes. " Goodbye dad." .... " Love you too." Damon rolled his eyes again and hung up.

Kaylee: Stuffing the stuff into her bag, Kaylee decided to text her mother and tell her she was coming back home in a little bit. Looking over her shoulder she looked at Damon who woke up his brother and then his phone rang again. Is his parents up his ass all the time? she thought to herself as he spoke. Once he had finished, she heard him say 'yes dad'. So it was his father this time? wow. Kaylee's mother only calls once and then thats it. She picked up her bag "Ready to go you three?"

Damon looked over at her. " My mom and dad drive me nuts you know that?" He sighed and put the bag over his sholders. " Yeah lets go." damon said as he started to walk. Jay and King took off into the woods. " Jay be careful." His dad would have his head if he let something happen to the kid.

" I will." The boy called back.

Damon sighed and looked over at her. " I so don't wanna go to school tomorrow." damon was not a big fan of school, only because the teachers didn't like him, and he always got bad grads. Damon sighed at the thought and kicked a rock as they walked.

Kaylee: "I can see, I would go insane" walking over to him, she nodded and started to walk with him. He also told his half-brother (I think so, right? lol) to be careful as he ran into the woods. When he said he wasnt going to school she looked at him "What? Why? Its bad to miss school you know. If its because of the bad grades then I'll help you. I wouldnt want you to be held back." she felt bad for him just by skipping school because of grades. She knew it was tough.

Pulling out her notebook, she handed it to him "here, take a look at this, half of it is notes, and half of it is some journal entries about my times in school and what I did and didnt want. nothing is personal so its clean." I really want to help him pass.. I already have a crush on him before I even started to talk to him...lets hope this goes well then.

Damon looked over at her and sighed. " I never said I'm not going to school, I just said I don't want to." He dropped his eyes to the ground. " People have tried before, never seems to help." Damon sighed and looked back up. " Jay?" He couldn't see the boy in the trees around them. " Jay!" He called again still with no reply. " Jay!!" He yelled.

" What?!"

" Get you little ass over here." The boy turned up and walked over to them. " Good God you scared the Hell out of me, stay were I can see you." The boy nodded and walked a head of them with King.

Damon looked at her when he was handed a note book. He opened it and flipped though the pages. " You really don't need to do this." He said putting the note book into his bag. " But thank you." He said giving her a small smile. They got to the main road and stepped onto the side walk. " Want me to walk you home?" He asked looking at her. " It's only seven twenty."

Kaylee: she felt alittle embarrassed that she didnt get what he had said, correctly. A blush spreaded across her cheeks a light one. "People tried, but not someone like me. I really want to help you." sighing alittle she looked up to see Jay and the dog gone and Damon yelled with worry once Jay came back and her heart slowed to normal speed since her stomach 'dropped'.

"But I want to" she said with a smile and nodded "You're very welcome." they had finally gotten onto the main road and she walked beside him still. "How about I go to your place, just to drop off Jay, and then you can walk me home? So you dont have to worry too much about him and then get scared when he dissapeared. I kinda got scared when he did too." She giggled slightly. "I thank you for offering to take me home too."

" Sounds good to me." damon said turning down a road to where his house was. When they got there Damon walked up to the front door and opened it, letting Jay and King in. before closing it again and walking over to her. Once damon was standing next to her the door opened a man stook in the door way.

" Damon where the Hell are you going." damon didn't turn back to look at the house.

" To walk her home." He said starting to walk."

" You have ten minutes." The man snapped and slammed the door. Damon looked over her and kept walking.

" So where do you live?" He asked looking down at the ground. he picked up his pace hoping that she didn't live to far away. His dad would have him shot if he was late for dinner AGAIN.

Kaylee: Nodding she followed along where his house was. It looked decent, also pretty. Watching Jay and King run in when he opens the door. He came back and then got ready to walk as soon as a man open the door. He didnt seem like a very nice man at all..he seemed pretty mean. She already didnt even like Damon's father..

Once they started to walk, she spoke "Just down the block to the left. In the blueish greenish house. Not too far. I hadnt relized we lived close. And your father, he doesnt seem very nice if you ask me." she sighed "but if you ever want to come over, you're more than welcome to. My mother would be glad to let you stay. If you dont go to school then she'll be home. So she would take care of you like if you're her son."

Damon nodded. " yeah his not the nicest guy, my real dad was so nice, but he died when I was seven." Damon sighed and shook his head. " That doesn't matter." Damon dropped his eyes down to the ground. He shook his head. " No it's fine, I don't need to stay with any one." Damon stopped in front of her house and looked at his watch. " Well I'll see you at school tomorrow I really need to go." Damon turned to walk away. " Oh call me if you need a ride tomorrow." He smiled back at her before starting to run back to the house. Damon slowed when he got closer to the house. It was 8:02. " Shit." He mumbled walking throught the door.

" Your late!" His father snapped from the kitchen table.

" I know I'm sorry I even ran."

" I don't give a damn what you did. Get your ass ready for bed. I'll be up after dinner." Damon slipped his shoes off infront of the door and placed then on the matt before heading up the stairs. Damon walked into his room and un packed the back pack, putting everything away and taking his brothers stuff into his bedroom. Damon sighed and grabbed his clothes. He went into the bathroom and took a quick shower before heading back to his room. Damon made sure everything was were it belonged before he laid down on the bed. He was already shaking. Sure of the pain that would come after his dad came up. Damon heard the sound of feet coming up the stairs. First the kids then he heard the heave steps of hims father. Damon flipped over onto his side, hoping is father would think he was asleep.

Damon's door was swung open and slammed shut again. " Get your ass up boy!" The man snapped. " I know your not asleep." Damon was shaking as he stood up not looking his dad in the eyes. " Who the Hell do you think you are! Showing up late after me and your mother told you to be home at eight!"

" I was two minutes late, I'm sorry." Damon said looking up at the man.

" I don't give a damn." The man said sending a large hand over Damon's face. " You're nothing you know that! YOU ARE NOTHING! YOU KNOW THAT!? You can't even pass a damn class with an A." The man shook his head. " Sickening. Your a good for nothing brat that deservesm to be dead. Your brother is never home late, he never gets F's. But then there's you. A pathetic little excuse of a son!" The man spat in Damon's face. " Not even your mother wants you here!"

" That's a lie!" damon yelled back at the man trying to hold back the tears in his eyes. The man took a step closer to him.

" What did you say!?" he yelled in his ear.

" I said that's a lie." Damon snapped back. Damon then took a fist the the face and a kick to the side. But he still stood strong. His nose dripping blood.

" You better straighten your mother fucking ass out before I kill you myself!" The man sent a hand over his face again. " You here me?" Damon nodded. " DO YOU HEAR ME!"

" Yes!"

" Get your ass to bed." The man shouted kicking Damon's lower back as he turned. The man turned and left the room slamming the door behind him.

Damon got up and grabbed some tissue from the table he laid back down and waited for his nose to stop. This had to of been the worse the man had beat him. He had never hit him that hard. Damon curled into a ball and started to sob, he cried until he fell asleep hours latter.

Damon woke up the next morning and started getting read. He looked mirror see that his face was brused. His shook his head and ran his fingers through his hair. Damon turned and started getting dress. He didn't even try to cover up the bruses. It would do no good. Damon went down the stairs and went out to his truck.

KAy: "Oh im so sorry..." she now felt really bad for him and then spoke again "Alright then..Call me if you need anything." Watching him leave kinda hurt. Which I felt bad. He seemed to be depressed but hid it well. Walking in the house, she was greeted by her mother and she smiled, telling her she would head to her room to unpack. Thats what she did. Took a shower, ate and got ready for bed.

She read for alittle and looked at the time, putting her book down she then layed down and turned off her light.She drifted into a light sleep and drempt of the hour or so she had, had with Damon.

Waking up for morning, she got up, got dressed, took care of her hair and teeth and such, then went down for breakfest "No its ok mom. I have a friend that'll take me." she told her mother and texted Damon 'hey, want to come pick me up? we still have time for you to meet my mother. If you come, just walk right in the door. I'll warn my mother about you. Alright? :)' sending the message she closed the phone.

Then she washed the dishes for her mother and then cleaned the table. Her mother went upstairs for another nap since she needed it. She worked hard for a single parent and Kaylee was proud of her mother for working so hard for the small family.

Damonstarted his truck with a roar and pulled out of the drive. His phone then went off and he looked down at it. He looked back to the road and sighed he wasn't sure if he should or not. Damon often had cuts and bruses, but never like this. He knew she woud ask to many questions, but she most likely would do the same at school, so he sighed and texted her back. Yeah sure, but I don't think I should meet your mom today. I'll honk when I'm there. Hey would you mind bringing me out sometjing to eat? He felt bad asking her that, but what else was he going to do. Starve the rest of the day, he didn't think so.

Damon's dad wouldn't let him have money for lunch and they wouldn't fill out the papers to let him get it free, so Damon went with out food until dinner, and some nights like the one before, he didn't even get that. Damon sighed and pulled into her drive, he honked once and waited for her to come out.

Damon pulled his hood over his head and put his sun glasses on wincing slightly as he did. This day was not going to be a fun one, he just knew it. " Fuck my life." He mumbled shaking his head. Damon was the only one that was treated like this. His mom and dad even let Ka$h and his brother move in, but yet they did this to him. Even his mom yelled at him and treated him like trash.

If he could Damon would just run away drop off the face of the earth. But it's not as easy as it seemed living with who he did, and he couldn't just leave his siblings. What if they started doing this to one of them, or Ka$h and Sky. Damon would never be able to live with himself if that happened. So he was stuck living with them.

Kay: She got out his reply, looking at her phone she texted back Thanks! :). And sure. she packed up a little something for him in a bag and she grabbed her book bag. Walking outside, approaching the car, she went onto Damon's side and handed him his breakfest "Here Damon." I wonder what's wrong with him.. I have a feeling he was sad under thoes shades...

Once Damon took the bag, she reached toward him and seen the bruise as she took the shades off. Eyes widening, she spoke "Damon, who did this to you. Dont lie to me either.." It hurted her to seem him hurt like this. She also reached in and shut the engine off. "Forget it, Im staying home and taking care of you.. It hurts me to see you like this."

I bet his dad did this or something! When Damon was sad about telling me about his blood-father it gave me a hint that this father, was not even a father, because why would he seem so sad about it? So he pretty much told me his father was evil. "Dont deny anything either.. I'll hide your tuck in the gurage."

Damon waited for her to come out to the truck, she walked over to his window and handed him the bag of food. " Thank you." He said placing it on the dash. Damon looked back to her and went to say something, but before he could she had pulled the glasses from his face. Damon winced in pain as she did.

" M-y-my ddd-ad." He stuttered and dropped his eyes. " That dick I call my father did it." Damon didn't look back at her, she started going off about school and such. Damon looked back to her. " You don't need to do that, plus the school will call my house and I'll get it again when I'm home." damon dropped his eyes again, the light caught his cheek just right and you could see all five fingers of his father across his cheek.

" I don't want you mom finding out, I don't want the cops called, because they'll take the others away, and." Damon shook his head. " He doesn't do this to them, he only does it to me." Damon looked over at her with sad blue eyes. " He says he wants me dead. And that he'll do it himself if I don't straighten up he'll do it himself." Damon sighed again.

" Fine whatever." Damon said opening the door and getting out. " You don't need to hide the truck, I don't care any more. What are you going to do any way, all they are is bruises and some cuts." Damon had a hard time standing, his back was really killing him. He hoped nothing was broke, since one of his lower disks is already shattered.

Kay: "Dont worry,they wont call your house on my watch. My mom wont get mad. She would do the same exact thing I am doing now." I knew it! his stupid father! She brang him inside "I have some herbs and stuff to help the bruise." feeling horrible she called the school and talked like her mother

"hello, yes, I would like to tell you that my daughter Kaylee (last name I forgot XD) and Damon (last name here) will not be coming to school today. They both had gotten sick somehow. Thank you, alright, buh-bye." she hung up and then went in the livingroom closet, pulling out a small jar of some lotion-looking subtance and she opened it, taking her finger and putting some on his bruise.

But being gentle"I am so sorry for what happened. If I did call the cops, they would arrest him for child abuse. Also you dont deserve to die..you deserve to have a life, go through love, have a girlfriend, have a wife and children.. You deserve all of that. Nothing that he says. It really hurts me to see you like this. Like if I had been stabbed in the heart."

Damon looked at her as he sat down on the couch. She called the school and acted like he mom. " Thank you." Damon said after she hung up. SHe grabbed a jar and started to put stuff onto his bruises. " Yeah I know what would happen, but I would want them to take us away you know? Take up to some place where we all get homes away from each other." damon sighed and winced as she put some up the cream onto a cut.

" Your moms not gonna be mad I'm here is she?" He asked hearing foot steps from the stairs. Damon looked over and saw a woman standing in the stair case." His eyes went wide as he looked over at the woman. Kaylee didn't even move she finished putting the stuff onto his face, before sitting down next to him. " Thank you so much." Damon said leaning over and giving her a small hug. Damon's stomach growled and he looked over at her again. " Do you mind if I have something to eat?"

Kaylee: 'you're wlecome" she let him speak, then she spoke once more "Well, maybe you can stay with me and my mother. We acually dont really have a man of the house. You could pack up in the middle of the night and run away to here." she kinda felt bad when he had winced at her touches. She shook her head "No, she wont. Its alright"

Hearing her mother, she looked over as she closed the bottle "Couldnt nap, mom?" her mother shook her head and then her mother spoke 'Whos this young man? And what happened?' sighing she spoke "This is Damon. He had a bad..night. But i'm taking care of him so you dont have to worry at all mom." once mother left, she put the jar away and looked at Damon with a giggle.

"Sure, help yourself. I dont mind what you eat. If you dont know what to eat I can always pick out something for you." She closed the door and looked at him. Walking over she helpped him up. When she did she felt a small bump on the small of his back "Damn your step father. I'll get some Ice for your back also."

Damon looked over at her mother as she went up the stairs. Kaylee helped him up off the couch and her hand rested on the spot his father had kidded. Damon winced and tried to hold back a scream, but he still whimpered under his breath. " I hope he rots in Hell." damon mumbled as he limped into the kitchen. " I don't really care what I have." he chuckled. All he wanted was food. Going almost the whole weekend with out eating really had taken it's tole.

The only time he had ate was when Luke took him out to lunch. Damon had stuffed himself and came home feeling better then he had in a while. But he got a beating again that night and wasn't allowed dinner that night or the next. And then there was last night. Damon sighed and walked over to the fridge he looked around it a little and huffed. " I don't know." He mumbled.

Damon sat down in a chair at the table and dug in his pocket pulling out a small bottel and popping one of the pilled into his mouth. He swollowed it with ease. " We could always go and get my stuff, and my dogs around noon. No one will be home, other than maybe Ka$h or Luke."

Kaylee: As they walked into the kitchen she looked in cabnets "how about I make you brunch? just tell me how hungry you are and i'll make as much as I can" she pulled out some pancake mix and then come bacon. Then she set the pans up and such getting the pancake mixed, mixed.. (XD) and then getting the bacon onto the pan

"Alright, then we'll have to be fast though. I'll bring a few of my duffel bags so you can jsut throw clothes, shoes, etc." walking to the fridge, pulling out ice and putting it in like a icepack that can be wrapped around you or whaever (like um...strechy pj pants XD) and she walked over to Damon and gently wrpped the ice thingy around him and putting the velcrow together. She made sure it wasnt tight.

"if its tight you can adjust it if you need to. And my mother,she'll take good care of you, shes not like a scary evil one." she smiled alittle and got up locking the top lock of the door since the bottom one was locked too. Then she came into the kitchen and flipped the pancake.

Damon smiled at her. " Shounds good." She asked how hungry he was and he chuckled. " I haven't ate since friday afternoon." She came over with an ice pack thing and wrapped it around him. Damon was so glad he had ran into her the day before. He would be stuck at school with people asking what happened. That would be just horrid. Damon watched her as she cooked, a small smile across him face. When she was done, she placed the food onto the table and sat down.

Damon grabbed a plate and stuck some stuff onto his plate, he didn't want to act like a pig, so he didn't take very much. " Thank you so much. You have no cluehow much this means to me." Damon took a bite and closed his eyes savering it. Damon looked back at her. " Okay, I hope your mom doesn't mind pets, because I have three dogs and a cat." He sighed and looked down at his plate. " i can't leave them there they're my babies." damon said shaking her head and looking at her.

Placing the food in front of him she sat down "ill make more food if you need me to. I wouldnt let you starve." I smiled when he got ready to eat "you are very welcome. Its the least I can do for you."

She had a small pancake of her own "Aww, thats cute. All sons?" she giggled "i know how it feels to have pets as your children. Its cute." she began eating too. Glad to take care of Damon.

" Yeah and i only ate then, because Luke took me out to eat." Damon sighed and ate a little. " I don't want to eat to much, it will make me throw up.' He said with a sigh. He chucked when she asked if they were all sons. " No Coke and Zoe are girls." He gave a smale and ate the rest of what he had. He looked down at his watch. " Well every one should be gone at my house now. Wanna go?" He asked.

When she nodded damon got up from the couch and walked out side. " Can I have my keys Please?" He asked with a chuckle. They went up the stairs to her room and got some bags before heading back down.

Kat: "Ah I see 2 daughters and one son" she giggled and soon finished. Once she did she looked over at Damon and nodded "Yeah." she took his plate once he had finished everything and then put it in the sink. Going up to her room, taking the duffel bags from the closet and headed downstairs with him. Pulling out his keys, she handed them to him.

"here you go. If you want I can help you stuff everything in the bags. any valuables and such." tossing in the bags. She got in the front passenger seat and buckled up. "If we need to, we have to sneek out a different way if they get home." no way am I letting him get cought and get in a hell lot of trouble.

Damon walked out to his truck and got in. He pulled out of the drive and started to drive to his house. " They should come home, but my window is the only other way." Damon gave a sigh. " I think it would just be better if you stayed here." They got to his house and Damon got out grabbing the bags and heading into the house.

Damon went up the stairs and went into the room, seeing the small blood spot on his floor had been cleaned, and his sheets had been change. Damon when over to his dresser and stuffed thing into the bags, making sure he got most of the things he like. he went over to the closet and did the same. Grabbing his lock box Damon shuved stuff into it and got his cat. " Come on Zoe." he said putting her down and heading down the steps. " Coke, King, Pepsi come on!" He shouted and the dogs ranout the door. Damon dropped the stuff into the back and opened the tail gate putting the dogs in and closing it again.

Damon picked up his cat and got in the drivers seat and placed the cat in the back. " Okay there we go." Damon started the truck and drove back to her house.

Kaylee: Sighing, she nodded "Alright" once they got to his house, she stayed in the car, being a lookout. He went in and then came out with the dogs and the cat. "Nice, you filled all of the bags" laughing slightly he came in the drivers seat with the cat and put her in the back "The room is big enough to fit the dogs. Plus we have a big enough yard to let them run around outside and such."

Now he was driving back to the house. She opened the gurage and let him park in there. She closed the door and locked it. She opened the back and let the dogs run into the house of the open door to go streight into the kitchen. She grabbed some bags that didnt seem heavy and went to the guest bedroom.

"I'll help you unpack too. Dont worry, im not a girl who goes through men's underwears and sniff them or whatever" Laughing she put the bags on the bed. "closets there, bathroom is right here, and you have some dressers to put your clothes in."
