Damon sighed and looked at the rings that the woman brought out. He shook his head at three of them and placed them aside. He then moved another two. And was stuck on two others. The one with the ruby heart and the one with the hands holding the heart. He really liked both, and he though Kaylee would as well. " Which one?" He himself was thinking the one with the hands, but he would let her mom pick.



*Time Skip*

Ka$h gave his boyfriend one last kiss before he heard his fathers car door closing. Ka$h groaned and got up of the bed, pulling on his boxers and his pants. He looked over at trey who was on the bed and smiled. Before he walked down the steps to meet his dad.

Rose watched as he pushed aside the others and was left down to the wonderful rings "Honestly, I have no idea. They both look wonderful. Maybe you should buy both? One can be for her birthday and the other could be for the engagement?" she had no idea which to pick it was up to Damon. "if you didnt want them both, then I would mostly go for the one with the beautiful ruby heart."

Trey smiled when Ka$h gave his last kiss. He got up and pulled on his boxers and pants. He left himself shirtless because well... their shirts were downstairs.

Damon sighed. " Let me ask a few friends." Damon snapped pictures of each ring and sent them to Luke, his mom, his friend King, and his friends Raven and River. ' Which one?" He asked in the text. His mom quickly texted back. " The ruby one." Luke said the one with the hand as did King. Damon waited for Raven River to reply. River texted back " OMG the one with the hands! Is it for Kaylee? I think she'll love it." Damonb chuckled and waited for Raven's text. " The one with Ruby." Damon texted them all back and looked at Rose. " Most of my friends say the one with the hands..." Damon looked down at the rings. " Can get the one with the hands please?" Damon asked pulling out his money.

i really loved the ruby, oh well its ur charrie XD and make the hands alittle more..closer to the heart so it doesnt look so weird looking XD

The woman nodded and put the others away. She then came back with ring he wanted and started ringing it up. "$250" once Damon handed the money, she gave him the change "Bag or no bag?" she asked kindly, noticing that Rose stood outside the door and waited for Damon. "have a good day" she said to Damon and Rose as they left

Rose waited outside for Damon, once he had came, she smiled "be sure to hide that from her. I can tell you right now, best place to hide it is in one of your socks." she giggled alittle "but you dont have to if you dont want to." she loved Damon like a son and she took care of him like one. Even though it hasnt been years. She had to let kaylee and him go.

Damon paid the woman before he headed out of the store and out to the car. " Okay. I'm not going t do it today..." Damon sighed. " I;ll say that the dinner got canceled and we can maybe do it next week. I don;t have enough to do something nice." He sighed looking down at the floor of the car. " I'm scared. I know she'll say yes... But i still am. What if we end up growing appart?" Damon didn't want to think about these things but he loved her so much it wasn't even funny. " I love her."

Rose got into the car "I could lend you some money, I wouldnt mind." thats how nice Rose could be "You both will not grow appart, shes so attached to you. She told me allot about you before you started living with us, it sounded like she was already hooked." when he added 'I love her' she smiled and looked at him "She loves you too. Once she loves someone like you, she cant stop. Its like you are.. something the most addictive. She cannot get enough of you. She makes me go insane- a funnyt and cute insane- when she talks about you and fangirls. I doubt anything would come inbetween you."

Damon shook his head and looked down at the floor. “ I’ll just wait. I don’t want your money.” Damon moved his hair out of his eyes. “ I’m going to keep it in the glove box of my truck until I ask her.” He blonde boy said pulling out his phone and texting Luke. He sighed nodding again. “ I know.” But he still couldn’t shake the thought not many relationships last long these days. Damon had never asked this before and it made him wonder. “ What happened to Kaylee’s dad? I haven’t heard you guys talk about him.”

Rose sighed as she drove "We dont talk about him because he was killed. Our house was broken into before we lived here. kaylee was only 3 when this happened. Her father told us to hide when he heard the breakin and feet running around. I took Kaylee into the secret door in the closet that we had and stayed there. once the gun went off..we didnt know who was shot. Once the people were gone, I came out with kaylee and wentdownstairs to seeing her father shot.I called 911 but he didnt make it." she lowered her eyes and sniffled "I told Kaylee her father went out on a trip for a bit, even thhough it wasnt true."

" Oh... I;m sorry." Damon didn't mean to bring up something so horrable he thought that maybe they had just devorced or something. Damon kinda felt bad now seeing tears running down the womans cheek. " So you just lied to her...?" Damon looked out the front window. " Does she know now?"

Rose nodded "Yeah, she knows now. I had to tell her aventually." she pulled into the street "I couldnt hide it any longer when she was old enough to know. So I hve been a single mom for years now, taking care of my little KAylee who will soon be a wife to my son-like figure" she smiled at damon

Damon smiled kindly at the woman. “ Well that’s good.” The rest of the ride Damon didn’t talk he just looked out the window thinking. Once they got home Damon got of the car and put the ring in his truck. Just as he closed the door Kaylee pulled into the drive way and he smiled. Waiting for her to get out before he kissed her in the cheek and gave her a hug. “ How was work?”

KAylee smiled and hugged him back "it was good." she pressed her lips gently to his and pulled away "Where did you and my mom go?" she wrapped her arms around his neck and then cupping his face in her hands "Shopping? Or some bonding?" she loved to see Damon happy, it was so cute and made her happy. Kay brushed her thumbs lightly on his cheeks

Damon smiled and kissed her back. “ We just went out to lunch did some bonding.” He said before he leaned in and kissed her again. Damon took her hand and they walked up to the door opening it they were rushed by the dogs. “ Hi guys.” Damon said kneeling down and greeting his animals.

Kaylee nodded "thats good" she kissed his cheek before being greeted by the dogs "Hey" she smiled and petted them all "good to see you again"

Time Skip

Damon woke up the morning that he planned on proposing to Kaylee. He was nervous, he knew she would say yes but still. Damon had set up reservations at the best restaurant in the city weeks before, and today was the day, but he still needed to go to work for the day. Damon sighed and got out of the bed heading into the bathroom he took a quick shower before he walked in and kissed Kaylee lightly on the head she was still fast asleep. Damon headed down stairs and fed the dogs before he went out to his truck and headed off to work.

Through out the day he cut the hair of over fifteen dogs, and cats. His pay at the end of the day he had earned over 300 hundred dollars, people paid well when it came to making their animals look beautiful. Damon headed home after a long day and plopped down on the couch it was only four and they had until seven before they had to leave the house.

Kaylee had taken a day off since she never took a vacation from her vacation days. She was just chilling around for a while before she started to find a outfit to wear. She found it and hung it in the back of her door. She then came down and spotted Damon "Hey Damon." she smiled and walked over, wrapping her arms around his neck from behind "How was work? Since I didnt get to speak to you this morning." she kinda overslept. She played with his hair and kissed his cheek

When Kaylee walked into the room Damon grinned. He kissed her slightly and then spoke. “ It was good.” Damon pulled the girl down so she was seated on his lap. “ How what your day?” He asked with a small smile kissing her lightly again . “ I have some plans tonight, you up for dinner?”

KAylee smiled "It was good, kinda boring if you ask me" she shrugged and kissed him back once he pulled away, she smiled and nodded "Yeah! I cant wait." she smiled and kissed him softly, then pulled away "mom went to work, so we have the house to ourselves tonight." she smiled and hugged him, resting her head on his shoulder and pressed soft kisses to his neck.

Damon chuckled at the girl who was seated on his lap. “ And what are you engaging there?” The blonde male asked with a chuckle. Kaylee then kissed his neck and Damon looked down at her. She knew that that was just some of the ways he was turned on. “ Hey now.”

Kaylee shrugged "I dunno, I could be saying anything." she giggled and then stopped, looking at him "hey? Its kay." she laughed and kissed him, then pulled away "you're too cute." she smiled and kept hugging him

Damon looked down at his girlfriend. " Horny much?" He asked kissing her back. When she said something about the kissing of his neck he shook his head. " No I love it." Damon said pushing her down on the couch and kissing her roughly on the lips. " Am I?" He replied to her saying his cute. " Well I guess that makes two of us." He said leaning down and kissing her again.

Kaylee giggled and layed back as he pushed her down, his lips had crashed to hers, causing her to kiss him back. Sliding her hands into his hands before he pulled away "Yeah." she smiled and nodded when he said 'that makes two of us' and she kissed him back, his lips on her lips made her think of a paradise, his lips were just something that created images in her head and turn her on. She tilted her head alittle and kissed him deeper and passionately
