I sit on the stairs and start to eat a chip or two and rub my stomach then stand and walk upstairs

Emma bit her lip as she mulled over his offer, dropping her hand down from her face and by her side. Staying the night was probably the smarter choice, and she would be prepared for tomorrow's events as well. Slowly, as she thought, her eyes drifted down to the floor until she made a decision and blinked a few times, lifting her gaze up. Nodding, she brushed her auburn bangs out of her eyes and forced a smile. "If it wouldn't be too much trouble…" she said.

Gale: He nodded. " Not one bit." he said with a small smile. " Showers and food are open if needed." He looked down the hall when he heard footsteps. He saw Ashley, he just shrugged it off, Skull would take care of things. Or so he hopped. He looked back to Emma. " I'm sure you are just going to stay in with you brothers?"

Skull
"I'm going out with some friends" I say walking downstairs and out the door

Ashley
I look at Skull and think 'Just to get drunk"

Emma nodded her head and smiled, a soft chuckle slipping out as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Thank you, honestly," she said, hesitating before she stuck out her hand. "I'm Emma by the way," she introduced, flashing a warm smile.

Gale: He looked at Skull as he walked down the hall. " If your not going to be back before midnight I want you to call me!" He yelled as Skull opend the door. He winced when he thought about the kids sleeping. Oops. He turned back to Emma and shook her hand. " I'm Gale but I'm sure you know that."

I roll my eyes and walk upstairs and to the bathroom. I take my meds

Emma smiled and shoved her hand in her back pocket, nodding her head and sighing as she glanced at the door to her new room, a sudden tiredness creeping into her eyes but crashing upon her body. Yawning, she turned her attention back to Gale and shrugged with a lopsided grin. "I do now," she joked, running a hand through her hair and dropping her gaze. "I've said it already, but I mean it, thank you so much. This…" she trailed off as she searched for the rights words but instead gestured towards the room, "this means a lot to me. Thank you." Flashing a generous smile, Emma mumbled a goodnight before stepping inside the room. Slipping into one of the beds, she let out a heavy sigh and soon fell asleep.

Emma woke up the next morning while it was still dark out, sometime around six in the morning. Silently getting up, she searched in her backpack for a fresh pair of clothes and tucked them under her arm as she went in search of the shower. Finding it, she slipped inside and locked the door, setting the clothes down by the sink and turning on the water. After adjusting the temperature, she stepped under the hot water and washed off the grim from the past four days. Once she was done, Emma wrapped a towel around her body and ran the remaining water from her hair, brushing it quickly with her fingers. Putting her clothes on, she took the towel with her and went back to the room, dropping them off. Rummaging through her pack again, she took out a pack of cigarettes and went outside thru the kitchen to the back porch. Lighting up, she took a long drag and sighed, enjoying the early morning air.

Gale: He didn't get much sleep that night, after waking up every half hour to check on Ashley. When Emma walked out he was sitting on the front porch smoking a cigarette. He glanced over at her then back out at the tree filled yard. " Good morning." He said puffs of smoke coming with each word. " Sleep well?" He asked still looking out at the yard. Almost in a spaced out state. His words drawn out and his voice was sleepy.

I walk into the door drunk way past midnight

Emma nodded her head and felt her lips twitch up in to a grin as she flicked her violet gaze over to Gale, blinking in satisfaction. "Better than I have since I was a little girl," she mused, raising the end of the cigarette to her mouth, shutting her eyes as she breathed in the smoke and blew it slowly out with a heavy breath, reopening her eyes. Pulling a chair over, she sat down and crossed her legs, glancing over at Gale once more. "How old are you?" she asked, narrowing her eyes slightly.

Gale: He glanced over at her. " 24." He said and looked into the house when he heard Skull. " I have to go deal with him." He said and stood up putting his cigarette in the ashe tray. He walked into the house and pushed Skull to the wall. " What I say call me that meands call me!" He said anger in his voice. " I don't care if your out drinking, doing drugs, or knicking up some chick. But I want to know if your not going to be home!" He yelled looking into Skulls eyes. Gale was much taller and bigger then Skull even though he was only a year older. Gale was 6ft 11in and 205. He was strong and tall, he had to be that way living the life he did. " Does your drunk ass understand me?" He asked as he pushed his harder into the wall.

I look at him with a glare and shove him

Gale: he hardly moved. He slammed him into the wall. " DO you understand me!" He growled. " Just 'cause you live here doesn't mean I can't kick you out. I don't have many rules, but the ones I do have I would like to be followed. And your not a miner so I could beat your ass and get away with it." He looked at him coldly. " Not one of the people that have stayed with me have not listened to the rules I have. Out og over 250 kids!"

"I was here before midnight but I was past out on the front yard!"

Gale: He shook his head. " How stupis do you think I am." He said pissed beyonde words. " I was up all through out the night. And you were no there. All I'm asking is for this not to happen again." He pushed him into the wall hard one more time then turned walling back out side. he lit a cigarette and took a long drag closing his blood shot eyes.

Emma sighed as she overheard the yelling, shutting her eyes as a pained expression crossed her features when memories of her own parents fighting flashed in her mind, making her cringe on the inside as well as the outside. Shaking her head, she raised her free hand and rubbed it heavily against her temple, trying to make the images go away back into the little black box in the back of her mind. When Gale came back outside, she opened her eyes to watch him for a moment, a frown on her lips. "That didn't sound too good," she remarked, offering an apologetic twitch of her lips and look in her eyes.

Gale: He shook his head and sat down. " i've never in 11 years had someone not call me if they were going to be out past midnight. I mean it's not that hard. I don't care how old they are when they are here, I still want to know. They are my family, and I would die if something happend to one of them." He glanced at her. " you know what I mean right?" He asked then taking a long drag blowing the smoe out his nose.

I walk downstairs a d flip my bangs out of my face. I walk to the kitchen and grab an apple

Max: He came down stairs still half asleep. He walked into the kitchen bumping into the wall as he turnd. " Stupid walls." He mumbled to himself and walked over to the fridge he grabbed a soda and popped it open.

Max: He chuckled. " I'm sory." He said and looked at the girl that had just spoak to him. " your new here right, your names...... Soul right?"
