Emma shook her head as a firm line took over and pushed the smirk off her lips, leveling her head with his and looking at him. "No, I was never human. I was created an Angel," she corrected gently, for once not with a sharp snap or growl. "But then..." she trailed off, her eyes filling with betrayal and rage as her hands tightened up into fists, her jaw clenching. Sighing heavily, she forced herself to think of something else, drowning out her anger with that thought. A calm stream; a peaceful valley; a slightly windy day. Abruptly, her jaw relaxed and her hands dropped by her legs, that natural shade of dark violet returning to her eyes. Flicking her gaze back over to Devon, she chuckled ominously and stood up slowly, brushing off the hack of her pants. "Yes, I think we've already established what would happen if did try that, Devon," she remarked, drawing out his name with a smirk as she winked. Stepping over to the lower bed, she flung herself down and let out a heavy sigh, rolling over so her wings faced him as she called over her shoulder, "Wake me when they come." Presuming he knew who 'they' were, she promptly went to sleep, the Trinity tattoo on her shoulder clearly visible.
