Akira smiled when he admitted that he had been planning to propose that night. "Oh so it wasn't a total surprise? Well. I had no idea you'd end up being part of the sea too," she said with a small laugh. "But it makes us that much more right for each other." She smiled as he rocked her back and forth. It was sweet and calming. Her eyes widened as she realized something. "Oh crap. You probably want kids, right?" She stared at him. "Um. I'm gonna go take a nap. It's been a long day." She stood up and walked up the stairs. Halfway up she tripped and fell down the stairs but then she got up and ran her fingers through her hair, studying the stairs. She hadn't used stairs in a while. She slowly walked back up and fell again. Then she crawled up and made it to the top. She then stood up and walked to the bedroom where she promptly collapsed on the bed.

Sam smiled, it did- it just proved they were meant for each other. He smiled down at her, but was a little confused when she mentioned kids. "I dont know..maybe? If you dont want them, Akira, its fine..." He trailed off as she made an excuse and got up. He frowned as he watched her walk away. After a few minutes, he followed her up to the bedroom. He sat on the bed next to her, looking slightly concerned. "Akira? You okay babe?" He asked, taking one of her hands in his.

Akira was laying face down on the bed. She mumbled something into the comforter that sounded like 'pust kine.' She sat up. "I'm just fine. Don't worry about me." She pulled a pillow onto her lap and hugged it to her. She hadn't heard his answer before she had gone upstairs. "So. What did you say about having kids? Did you want to?" She asked with a small smile. She let go of the pillow and wrapped her arms around his waist since he was still standing in front of her. She rested her cheek against his stomach.

Now Sam was confused. "I do, if you do...But maybe we should wait a little bit." He sat down beside her, and then wrapped his arms round her again. "You know, until we get...settled." It probably was the wrong thing to say, but he was completely confused now.

Akira smiled and let go of him so he could sit down. When his arms went around her she leaned into his embrace and wrapped her arms around him too. "If only we could wait..Wait. That's not what I mean. I mean, if only we could...have kids. Not that I particularly like kids but I meant physically have them. I don't mean that we need to have sex as soon as possible or even wait to have it but I-" She realized she was babbling on and she stopped. "I mean....physically, I can't have babies." She sighed.

Sam stared down at her as she rambled on. 'I mean...physically, I can't have babies.' she can't have babies his mind registered. He was lost in thought, more confused than ever, when he realized he was just staring at her, not saying a word. He leaned down and gently kissed her, reaching up his hand to stroke her hair. "Well, if you wanted one, we could always adopt." He suggested. So, did she want a kid? Or did she not? He was totally lost.

Akira bit her lip, watching him process. He was just staring at her. She glanced away, his stare becoming uncomfortable. Then he said they could always adopt. This brought a small smile to her lips. "Yeah but, it wouldn't be the same. It wouldn't be our baby. It would be someone else's." She felt him stroke her hair and she smiled. His touch was so comforting to her. She reached up a hand and touched his cheek. "You aren't upset?" She asked quietly. "Or mad?"

Sam nodded- it was true, it wouldn't be the same. He smiled the tiniest bit at her touch. He was taken aback at her question, "No! No, of course I'm not Akira. Why would I be mad?" He asked, looking at her, not really expecting an answer. "I love you, K, and nothing woud change that."

Akira smiles. "You're too sweet." She sighed. "Well. What now?" She asked. "Oooh I want to try something." She got up and opened the window and jumped out with a shriek of delight. She instantly sprouted a tail halfway down and caught her fall but ruffled the bushes to make Sam think she had fallen into the bushes. She then hid around the corner. ^__^ evil akira xD

Sam shrugged, but watched her curiously as she walked to the window. As she jumped out, Sam jumped up and rushed to the window, looking down. He didnt see her but heard the bushes rustle. He walked downstairs a little faster than usual, wondering if she had grown a tail but still worried. He walked around to where the window was, looking in the bushes for his fiancee. Not seeing her, he scratched his head and decided to walk around the house, starting to get anxious. He started walking and saw a flash of tail turning the corner. Curious, he swam after it, swimming quite fast. Turning the next corner, he caught Akira s tail with a smirk

Akira shrieked with laughter as he caught her. "Hey! You weren't supposed to find me!" She giggled and hugged him. "Did I scare you? Oh I love pranks. You'll have to get used to them." She gave him a kiss on the lips. "Now. You must learn to grow a tail! Are you ready? You must be ready!" She led him into the front yard.

Akira smiled. "Okay. Now. Close your eyes," she waited for him to do as instructed. Once his eyes were closed she continued. "Now focus on a picture of you with the kind of tail you want. You have to really want it."

Optional part of post:
"Try it like this." She closed her eyes and concentrated. Her tail changed form and color then a little fart came out making a bubble. She sighed. "Ah. See? It worked." xDDDD sorry. had to write this. go ahead and ignore it

Back to original post:

"Just focus on it. And want it. Imagine your legs becoming joined together and scales growing. Imagine the color changing and your tail growing. That should about do it."

Sam nodded and closed his eyes. He imagined his tail and his legs growing together and stuff. He opened his eyes and looked down. He did it! He had grown a tail! XD He floated with a smile stuck on his face, then posed, "Am I a smexeh merman?" He asked, trying to keep a straight face.

Akira smiled. "Yes. Such a sexy merman." She swam over to him and gave him a kiss. "As you do it more often if will become more natural and won't take as much concentration." She changed her tail back to its original form and smiled. "So. What do you want to do now?" She asked.

Akira smiled. She realized it was getting really dark and she was really tired. "We should go to bed." She said with a smile. "Let's go." She grabbed his hand and pulled him into the house. She almost tripped as her tail turned back into legs. That would take some getting used to. She realized she had none of her clothes here and frowned. "Dang. We don't have our stuff. Maybe we should drive the sub over and unload our stuff before bed."

He followed her inside, catching her as she tripped. He chuckled inwardly, smilling slightly. He lead her to the garage after she said they should go back to the sub. "Good idea," he said. He got in the car, then looked at Akira. "Actually, you had better drive. I'm not used to underwater conditions" he smiled as they switched sides.

Akira smiled and got into the car. But then they switched sides so she could drive. She turned the key in the ignition and backed out. Then she drove to the sub and let Sam get out. "You drive the sub. I'll bring the car back. Meet you there!" She then drove back to the house and waited for him to get there. There was a big field next to their house where the sub would easily fit.
