He sighed and gave the rest of his food to Rhino. He didn't eat much of it. The dog licked the plate clean and Gage sat it on the table. He leand back and folded his arms. " Well at the age of three my mom and dad started beating me. They would get drunk and high as Hell then come into beat me and my brother." He sighed closing his eyes for a short time thinkigng back to the time. " By the time I was six they had beat us really bad every day, more then three times a day. My dad came home drunk one night, my brother who was 14 at the time had his girlfriend over. They were in his room. Well making out on the bed." He sighed again. " I was sitting on my side of the room watching the small Tv. My dad walked in a small 22 pistal in his hand. When my brothers girlfriend saw him. She quickly left. And well my dad was not very happy. He held the gun to my-" His voice broke as tears filled his eyes. He didn't cry much, but that was hard for him to think about. " He held it to my brothers head and shot in twice. Right there infront of me." Tears ran down his now red cheeks. " I watched my brother die infront of me and I couldn't do anything about it. I stayed with my mom and dad for three more years. Facing the man I hated ever day, him and my mother beat me alot. Ever time i said anything, or did anything wrong which to them was a lot." He sighed. " At the age of nine I ran away. Roming the streets for a year and a half. I came across a boy he was sixteen. He was part of a small gang called Raven's Wing, it was alot like Wolves Run. But they were still a steer gang. He took me under his wing for a year I stayed with them. Then....." He trailed off for a moment wipping tears away as they became heavier. " Then there was a shoot out at the gang house, and once again I had to watch someone I loved die before my eyes. From a gun shot to the chest. I was on the streets again for another two years. Then at 13 I got a job, and after a year and a half of working. I saved up the money to get the house I have now. I had ten other kids with me at the time. As they left and came I looked around the town for kids that needed help." He took a drink of his water and wiped the tears away, they had now almost stopped. " I was walking down the road one day, I was 15 then and I heard a little girl crying. As I jumped the fence into her yard, I found a little girl two years old or so. Her mom was pasted out in the front yard. Her dad asleep up stairs. It was cold out and she was so small, so skinny. I picked her up and took her home." He smiled. " And that little girl is my baby Sofy." He sighed and looked at her. " Over the next nine years, I've taken kids and young adults in. Making what is now Wolves Run." He sighed and looked at her. " At 24 I have a good job and I still take in the strys, human or not." He smiled and looked at Rhino then back at Emma.

Emma nodded her head solemnly, a sympathetic frown pulling at her lips until she gave in and lifted her gaze, reaching over and placing her hand on his in a comforting gesture, not at all romantic. "Well, at least we share something in common," she murmured, flashing a small twitch of a smile on her mouth and patting his hand, hesitantly pulling her arm back into her lap. Most of her food was gone by now, so all she could really do was fiddle with her straw and sip at her water. Sighing, she dropped her gaze down to her lap and stared at it, processing everything he had just told her. A lot of his past wasn't much different from her own; only at least one of her parents actually did care for her.

He sighed and drank some of his water. He looked over at her. " Are you ready to go?" He asked as he placed the cup on the table and asked for the check. He paid for the both of them.

He laughed and followed her shooting people as he went.

Emma nodded her head and brushed off her legs, standing up and thanking the waiter as she walked out, her hands stuffed in her jacket pockets after throwing it on just before exiting the building. Turning to Gale, she frowned slightly and flashed him a look. "You didn't have to do that. I could've paid for half of that," she grumbled, but a sincere thank you rested in her eyes as she walked over to the truck.

I smile and when the game was over and the Blue won I walk to him and smirk. "Did you have fun or you still moody"

It's okay I had to write alot today so I have writers block really bad.

He looked at her and sighed as he pulled on his jacket. " I was just trying to be nice." He said as he lit a cigarette and leaned on the truck, lightly rubbing his temples as a headach started to creep in.

Max

He chuckled. " I'm always moody, but yeah I had fun." He said with a smile.

I smile and lean up and kiss his cheek and take off the best and put the gun away

He was taken aback when she kissed his cheek. But didn't say anything about it. He took off the vest putting it away, and putting the gun where it went. He walked out side and leand on his truck as he lit a cigarette.

I walk out the door and look at him. I see that he was smoking and I sigh and walk to him. "How many of those to do go through a day?" I say say I lean on the truck next to him. I slide my shies on the cement as I look down at my feet. I was hoping he wouldn't say a pack when he answered my question.

He shrugged. " Most of the time just a half a pack. But if I'm stressed it's more." He said as he looked down at the ground. " I've been smoking for a long time. So it's a good thing I don't smoke more then take." He said and took a long drag blowing the smoke out his nose.

Soul
I look up and sigh at him. "Give me one" I say kicking a rock across the parking lot. I watch it as I skids across the parking lot snd onto a small patch of grass.

He looked at her. " Okay?" He said handing her one.

I put it in my mouth and grab a match from my pocket and strike it on my shoe. When the flame sparks I light the cigaret and put out the match

With a sigh Max looked around then looked back at Soul. " SO what do you want to do now?" He asked looking at her then back down to the side walk.

I shrug "Maybe we can hang at my place for Alittle?" I look at him

*Nod* 'kay, just give me a moment. Think I'm in a super literate mood that needs to stir in a little drama…

Emma frowned and poked his shoulder with one arm over her chest, a flash of coy playfulness in her eyes as she leaned against his truck as well. "Yeah, but still…" she grumbled, dropping her gaze with a sigh and reaching inside of her jacket pocket, groping around for her phone. Furrowing her brow when she couldn't find it, she dug around more frantically as panic set in. "Shit!" she hissed, her fist balling up and pounding against the side of the truck as she raised her other hand and went through her still damp hair. Muttering something, she flashed a 'one-second' sign to Gale and ran back inside the building. Asking for a waiter to check the table for her phone, she restrained herself from screaming out something that would damage a lot of little kids minds. Mumbling a thanks, she threw the door open and walked out. In a low voice, she continued her rage and seethed out every curse in and out of the books, making up some as she went. Looking up at Gale, she chuckled and raised a hand to her eye sockets, rubbing them in an extremely irritated way. "Well, looks like I left my cell at the bar!" she exclaimed, falling back into her anger as she kicked a lamppost hard, not even flinching as it rung ominously.

Oh thank God. I've been waiting for you or Cayden to get on all day!!

Gale looked at her when she nudged his sholder. " I'm sorry." He said in a quite voice as he dropped his eyes again. He glanced over as she went through her pockets. Looking for her phone he guessed. Gale sighed when she ran back in and took a long drag from his cugarette. When she came back he frowned. Seeing she was clearly very mad. " I'll take you over there." He said in a quiet voice and put out the cigarette.

As Gale got into the truck he looked at Emma waiting for her to get in. When she had he started the truck and pulled out of the parking lot. He made a fast turn into the traffic of the busy LA road. He sighed as the traffic went slow. It was rush hour and that was not a good time to be on the road.

As the traffic moved a little. Gale pulled onto a side road and drove to the bar. pulling into the parking lot he stopped the car. And let her out. Resting his head on the back of the seat Gale waited.

You should make it so she lost it when she was with Cole. Or was that your plan?

"Lets go" I take in a long breath of smoke and blow it out then put out my ciggarte. I look up at him "What?"

I go and get in the truck. "If you don't want to we don't have to" I look over at him then lean back in the seat and look out the window as I wait for him to answer.
