Gale: He nodded. " Okay. I'll take care of them." He said taking another long drag then putting it out. He went in side and sat on the couch.

Emma silently went back to the room, grabbing her phone and writing a note to her two brothers quickly before walking out. Just before leaving, she wrote down her number on another piece of paper and left it on the counter for Gale. Out the door, she jogged down the road and was back in down-town Los Angeles, shivering as cruel memories returned. Tightening her jacket around her as she got several leering stares from guys leaning against crumbling buildings, she scowled and hurried along the streets. Suddenly, a hand reached from behind her and snatched her wrist, jerking her back and dragging her down an alley.
"Finally decided to come back, eh?" a husky, male voice whispered in her ear, making a shiver run down her spine and chill her skin as gooseflesh enveloped her body and covered her skin. Clenching her jaw tightly, Emma felt her hands ball up into fists as she thrust her elbow sharply into the man's abdomen, managing to slip out of his grasp and stepping to the other side of the alley. Whipping her head around, she glared coldly at the man and pushed her lips into a tight line.
"Don't touch me, Cole," she hissed, her arms trembling with anger. Lifting his head, Cole narrowed his eyes at Emma and advanced toward her, pinning her against the brick wall with his hands on either side of her head. Leaning his head down to her's, he lowered his face to the hollow of her neck and trailed his nose up, gently brushing his lips along her jaw.
"Don't talk to me like we never had anything," he shot back, pulling away to give her a sharp glare. Returning his glare with a much more intense one, Emma raised her arms and roughly shoved Cole away, her violet eyes igniting a murderous flame.
"Even if we did have something, I regret ever getting involved with you," she countered bitterly, digging in her jacket pocket and throwing a rather large wad of money at him, which he clumsily caught and briefly glanced at before chuckling. Looking at her, he gestured to the wad as he raised it and narrowed his eyes.
"Is this supposed to pay for everything?" he sneered, getting a disgusted scowl from Emma who crossed her arms over her chest and cocked her hip out, nodding her chin sharply.
"Two thousand dollars, you insolent prick. Count it if you don't believe me, because it does pay for everything," she snapped, releasing a hand to point at him accusingly and narrowing her eyes dangerously and got up in his face. "Now that I've paid you back, I don't ever want to see you again, Cole. Ever."
Scowling, Cole shot a pissed off glare at Emma as he shoved the wad of money in his back pocket, advancing on his ex-girlfriend and pinning her to the wall once more, though much more forcefully. Leaning close to her face, he snaked a hand past her jacket and grabbed her waist, wrapping it around.
"I'm afraid that doesn't quite cut it, sweetness," he whispered seductively, getting a hard but useless shove from Emma.
"Get away from me," she growled, enunciating each word clearly to which Cole chuckled and leaned down further until his lips pressed hard against hers, making her squirm and struggle in his grasp. Pushing her hand against Cole's shoulder, Emma tried to shove him away but only succeeded in making him kiss her harder, adding fuel to the fire in her eyes. Abruptly, she thrust her knee up and hit him where it counted, finally able to roughly shove him away and sprint out of alley.
"This isn't over, Emma!" Cole shouted after her, still bent over in the alley as Emma ran through the neighborhood, hiding in one of the nearby bars.

Max: He growld. " How was I giving you shit?" He hissed now very mad he got off the counter and walked over to her.

Gale: He sighed and got up off the couch. " Touch her I kill you." He said to max as he got closer to Soul.

Max: he rolled his eyes. And looked back at her waiting for an answer.

Gale: He sighed and went out to his truck. He got in and drove into town. No, he didn't have work that day. He just needed a break from the house. It got to be alittle much at times. He drove past the ally that Emma had been in. He saw a man standing in the ally. He shook his head. " There are some creepy people in this town." He said to Rhino who was in the seat next to him. He thought he would go out and have a drink. It just happend that he went to the same bar that Emma was at. He walked in Rhino at his side, and sat down at the bar counter.

I glare at him "Smoking and rudeness" I say pulling out a pocket knife and peal some one the skin off the apple

He rolled his eyes. " Okay what ever, I'm sorry." He turned and went up to Luckys room. Walking in with out knocking he layed down on the bed next to her and sighed. " People around here suck."

She chuckled. " Yep I know." She was reading. While she stroked Ravens head.

I smirk and walk outside and jog into the woods and to a trail

Emma was seated at one of the barstools towards the back of the bar, her head resting in her hand as she still struggled to catch her breath from sprinting away from Cole. That bastard… she hissed in her mind, her right hand unconsciously clenching into a tight fist as an angry fire ignited once more in her violet eyes. Scowling, she lifted her head and snapped her fingers loudly, getting the bartenders attention as he came over. "Bottle, Budweiser," she ordered, the man reaching down and pulling a cold beer out of a mini fridge and popping the cap off before laying it in front of Emma who muttered her thanks. Tipping the bottle back, she downed half of it in one swig before setting it back on the bar, panting lightly as she rubbed her temple. "Stupid, stupid, stupid," she murmured to herself, sipping at her beer again before hopping off the stool and leaving a twenty dollar bill under her empty bottle. Headed towards the exit, she caught sight of Gale out of the corner of her eye, her breath hitching in her throat. "Gale?" she asked out loud, instantly regretting it.

He looked at her. " Emma?" He asked and stood up. He walked over to her. " What are you doning here? I thought you had things to take care of." He asked looking at her. He could see the anger in her eyes. " What happened?" He asked concer in hin voice. He took a drink of the beer he had in his hand, as he looked at her waiting for the answers.

I come back after a few my hair pinned back. I roll my neck as I walk into the house

He was in the kitchen laughing at ryan as he sang. He had a beer in his hand.

Sofy

She ran in and took his beer running out.

" Sofy! Thats not funny, get back here!" He yelled and chanced her out the door laughing.

She stuck her toung out. " come get mt big boy!" She yelled back to him as she ran.

I look at him and walk upstairs to shower and change.

Emma raised her hands to her face and wiped them down slowly with a heavy sigh as she hesitated before walking over beside Gale and taking a seat next to him. The pounding music was giving her a bad headache as she shut her eyes and a pained expression passed over her face briefly before she lifted her hands to her temples. Rubbing the sides of her head, Emma sighed once more before reopened her eyes and refused to look at Gale as she spoke in a soft voice that only he could hear, barely.
"I did. Let's just say my 'business' took a turn for the worst," she grumbled, running her hands through her loose auburn hair, as if the movement would somehow remove the huge weight resting on her shoulders. Frowning, Emma lifted her head and rubbed the back of her neck, ordering another beer and swigging it down in a few hasty gulps. Finally meeting his gaze, Emma narrowed her eyes softly and gestured to him with her chin as she raised it. "Why are you here?" she asked, her eyes drifting over to Rhino who sat on the ground, sniffing her shoes.

Gale

He looked at her slightly concerned. " Are you okay?" He asked. The music was also giving him a headach as it pounded in his ears. " I need to get away from the home, Max was driving me nuts. He's on one today. He just loves to piss me off." He brought his beer up to his lips and drank it down. He sat to bottel on the counter. He wasn't planning on getting drunk, he had to drive home and he had to have enought since to take care of the kids. " Would ypu mind if we went some where else.This place is killing my head." He said as he rubbed the side of his head. He looked down at Rhino then back up to her.

Emma chuckled bitterly and lowered her gaze, blinking slowly and shaking her head slightly, the tips of her teeth visable as her lips lifted over them in a lopsided grin. Sighing, she loosely picked up the bottle by it's neck and tipped it back, resting her elbows on the wooden bar. "Hm, sometimes I feel the whole world is this long line of assholes all trying to piss me off," she confessed with a careless shrug of her shoulders, taking another sip and rubbing her eyes. Damn, what time is it? she thought to herself, noticing how tired and fatigued she was already. It could be that late, the sun was still up as far as she could tell and the bar wasn't jam packed like it was at night. Groaning, she shut her eyes and shook her head, slapping her cheeks a few times as she tried to wake up. Looking over at Gale when he made his suggestion, she laughed out loud and proceeded to jump out of her seat, adjusting her jacket. "You just read my mind," she remarked, flashing him a grin and digging in her pockets for another ten dollar bill, slipping it under her beer bottle. Nodding at Gale, she walked out of the bar and instantly felt better without the pounding music and stench of rotting wood flooding her senses. Pulling out a pack of cigarrettes from her jacket pocket, she offered one to him after she took one out for herself and placed it in her mouth, lighting up. "You have any place in mind?" she asked, taking a drag and blowing the smoke out with her words.

He sighed. And got up pulling on his jacket and put a 20 dollar under his beer bottel and followed her out. He shook his head at her offer. " I have my own." he said as pulled out a pack at lit one. taking a long drag he closed his eyes and leadned on the front of his truck. " I don't know." He looked Rhino who was sitting by his side. He looked up at the sky. As a light rain started. " Got anything in mind?" He asked as he turned away from the wind so his cigarette didn't go out. He sighed and clsed his eyes again, leting the rain lighly hit his face. He loved the cool wetness on his hot skin. It felt so very nice. He grinned then opend his eyes and looked back at her.

Sorry I poofed last night; I fell asleep because it was like 11:30 where I live.

Emma shrugged and stepped over next to Gale, leaning against his truck as well, embracing the cool rain as a smile twitched onto her lips, spreading slowly. "Here is nice," she remarked, turning her head towards him and smiling before she took a drag and blew it out through her nose slowly. [WB]

Emma shrugged and flicked the ash that had built up at the end of her smoke off, watching it fizzle faintly as it made contact with the ground with a blank expression, her mouth twitching down into a frown every few seconds. Sighing, she shut her eyes and shook her head, taking a quick drag before speaking in a soft voice. "No, it's better you know the truth now than suffer the consequences because I lied," she muttered, lifting her head up and locking her gaze with him. Pausing for a moment, she struggled to think of a way to explain to him everything that was going on in her life that had forced her to seek shelter. "I grew up in a bad part of town here in LA, lets put it that way. My dad was a pimp, and my mom just an unlucky employee who got knocked up. I grew up in that life, so I thought it was okay to sell your body for money," she confessed, not meeting his gaze as she dropped her head, staring at the ground with her auburn hair shielding her face. "When I was ten, my brother Braxton was born, Kyle seven years after him. Neither of them are fully my blood-brothers, they're my half-brothers, so to speak. At sixteen, my father started putting me up for 'sale'. I thought it was okay, you know, because I grew up around it. But then, he started to-" her voice broke off as it cracked, her eyes shutting painfully, "He started to beat me and my mom and my brothers. Every night it seemed. Things just got worse after that." She stopped in her story to take a drag and sigh softly, shaking her hair away from her face. "I started doing drugs and drinking, which soon ended up in me meeting a guy. His name was Cole. He promised me that he would take care of my brothers and I if we came and lived with him. Well, I did. But, as it turns out, he was just another pimp and used me- also charging me for everything. After four years, my debt to him was well over four grand. I knew what would happen if I didn't pay up, so I split." Dropping her dead cigarette, she didn't bother to stomp it out as the rain did for her. Crossing her arms over her chest, Emma took a shaky breath and shut her eyes. "Since then, I've been on the run. I just happened to stumble upon you in a dark time. Today, I took the last two grand I owed Cole and paid him. But it's far from over, which is why I needed a place for my brothers to stay- someplace safe."

He listened to her with sad eyes. He had a bad life, but nothing that bad, he got away from his house at the age of ten so he didn't stick around for much. He sighed and placed his hand on her sholder. " I'll take care of your brothers Emma." He looked up from the ground and met he gaze. " And if you ever need anything. Weather it be money, food, a place to stay. Just remember I'm there. I'll always be there." He sighed and took a long drag still looked at her. " What does this guy look like?" He asked wondering if he had ever seem the guy. He felt really bad for Emma. Getting mixed up in that kind of stuff was not fun. He had, had many girls in his care over the years. That were in the same place as here, but at a younger age. He know how much it hurt them. And he also knew it made them, well more untrusting. Of other people, mostly other guys. He was surprised she had trusted him. But he did have a good rep. in this town
