Miranda froze. She threw her phone onto the ground and ran harder, trying to figure out where they were. She saw a girl starting to go back into a house. She grabbed her hand, pulling her away from the door. "Do you know where my dad is?" She watched her face, she was good at telling if someone was lying or not.

Miranda broke a window and ran into the room they were in. She had a knife in one hand and a gun in the other. She pointed the gun at the girl. "Do it again. I dare you."

Saron sighed and got in the car. He pulled out of the driveway and sped home.

Miranda laughed, sounding insane. "Oh don't think I won't shoot. I will." She put her finger on the trigger.
