Rileigh stood in the grocery store, a basket in her right hand as she gathered groceries to buy. She impatiently tucked her loose hair behind her ear every time it fell out.

I am so sorry, but I have to go. It's a school night and I was supposed to get off 30 minutes ago. I'll reply as early as I can in the morning.

Again, I'm sorry I had to leave so soon. I wish I had replied earlier so we could roleplay a little bit longer. Have a nice night/day.

It's alright, I should've gone to bed about thirty minutes ago too. I just can't seem to fall asleep.

Dane:Ignoring the growls from Vinny, he exited his room and left Dilynn behind. He felt like a drive anyway, and he needed to pick up dog food so the grocery store was the perfect place to visit. It was risky leaving Vinny and his sited alone in his room, but he didn't care. She was his sister after all. When he stepped outside, he pulled his keys from his pocket and looked around for his navy blue jeep. The car that his parents had bought him as a going away present. As he walked towards it, he clicked the unlock button a few times and looked around to see if anyone was watching. Quickly, before getting into his jeep, he checked his pocket for his wallet and relief washed over his face when he realized he did have it. Hopping into the driver seat and starting he car was the easy part, finding the grocery store was a whole different ball game.

Rileigh silently searched through the canned goods, looking for her favorite brand. As she was looking, a can suddenly fell down off the floor and onto her foot. The pain shot through her and she let out a small but loud yelp, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath to try to reduce the pain. She's always been a clumsy girl, so this was not something new.

Dane: Once he had arrived at the grocery store, finally after a while of searching, he hopped out of his jeep and shoved his keys in his pocket. The grocery store wasn't large in size, maybe big for the area they were in but everyone was just as average as he was. After he walked inside, he found the dog food aisle and searched for the right brand he needed. When he found it, he lugged it over his shoulder and started walking down the aisle until he heard a yelp from the one next to his. He set the dog food down and went to go investigate. As he looked down the aisle, he saw the source of the yelp and smiled slightly. Everyone in this store was as average as him, except the girl in the aisle. Of course, he wouldn't talk to her, considering he wasn't very good with talking to women.

Rileigh took a deep breath, then opened her eyes. She looked around, seeing if anyone saw her. She saw no one until she looked to her left, where a teenage boy that looked around her age stood. He was tan, she could tell even from the distance between the two. Her face blushed scarlett red, her embarrassment showing through. By now, her foot didn't even hurt anymore but she was sure she would have a bruise in the morning.

Dane: He looked around himself, making sure nobody else was around that she could possibly be looking at. Not able to see anyone, he knew she must be looking at him. He felt like he should go talk to her, but he wasn't sure if he'd be able to carry a conversation. Deciding to suck it up and man up, he walked down the aisle preparing the lines he planned on saying. When he was close enough, he noticed the perfect combination of green eyes and brown hair that she had, just like himself. She was shorter though, than his 5'10 and she was quite beautiful compared to girls around his age that he had seen already. Looking away from her face and to her foot, all he could mutter was a simple "Are you alright?" He hadn't realized his voice was that effected by her presence. He hadn't ever had any problems with his voice when around women, maybe because he never talked to them?

Rileigh watched as the guy walked down the aisle towards her, and she wandered if this could be trouble. Certainly not, she told herself, he doesn't look like trouble. Once he stopped in front of her, she looked up at him, studying his facial features and she couldn't help but notice how handsome he was. She listened to his voice when he spoke, taking in the perfect sound of it. It took her a minute to respond, for she was lost in her own thoughts. "Oh," She started "Yeah, just... being clumsy." She let out a fake laugh, then bent down to pick up the can of sliced pears. She gently sat it back on the shelf neatly before turning back to the boy.

She's sweet and shy, but crazy when you get to know her.
Her brother is Casper.


Casper Jay Brown
He's shy and doesn't talk to anyone unless he has to or they talk to him first. Once you become really close to him, he lightens up a bit and is really sensitive and sweet.


Charlotte Iris Pency
She's outgoing most of the time, but tends to embarrass herself a lot. She is terrible at talking to boys.

Dane: A smile appeared on his lips as he heard her laugh. He couldnt help it really. Hesitating a moment, he stuck his hand out to her and looked at it. "My names Dane, it's nice to meet you clumsy." He wasn usually the type to introduce himself, especially to girls, but he thought he should give it a go. What could go terribly wrong? She would deny his handshake and leave? He'd seen that a hundred times. It still stung sometimes, but he'd probably get over it. His sister would make sure of that.

Rileigh let out a soft laugh and shook his hand with a smile on her face. "Call me Rileigh. It's nice to meet you, Dane." She exclaimed, pulling her hand from his when the handshake was finished. She admired his smile. It made him even more handsome, as if that could be possible.

Dane: He knew he had to grab his dog food and scram, before Dilynn flipped out at him for being gone so long, but he didn't exactly want the first good conversation he's had go away. Instead, he stayed put and kept his smile on his face. "Very pleased to meet you Rileigh." He was quite pleased to meet such a gorgeous girl in the middle of a grocery store. Things like that just weren't supposed to happen to average guys like him. His hands shoved into his pockets and he blushed slightly from the silence he had created momentarily. Deciding to end the slightly awkward quiet, he spoke up again. "I don't think I've seen you around before, are you originally from here?"

Rileigh noticed his cheeks turning a rosy color, making her eyes dart to the floor and her cheeks going the same color. She looked back up at him when she heard his voice again. "No, I'm from Florida. I was having family problems, and I saw an ad for this campus... So, here I am in Chicago." She finished off her sentence with a soft smile.

Dane: All the beautiful girls were from Florida. Maybe he should move there? "Neither am I, I moved here with my sister after we got kicked out of my folks place in Fresno. Family troubles seem to be common." His sister had actually made him leave with her. He was fifteen then, two years had gone by without a single call. He could understand his sister leaving though. Their father wasn't a very forgiving guy and she usually got the punishment, even for things he did sometimes. 'Because she didn't set a good example' or whatever. He just hoped he never turned out like his father.

Rileigh nodded, agreeing with him. "I guess they are." She exclaimed. After a moment of silence passed by, she cleared it up by speaking. "Well, I should get going." She said, adjusting the basket on her arm. She silently wished he would ask to meet up, but she could tell he was shy and she wasn't sure if he would. Rileigh wasn't the type to ask people to hang out or go on dates either. Besides, isn't the guy supposed to ask the girl?

Dane: He held back a frown that threatened to replace his smile and nodded. "I... I guess I should be going too." His hand reached up and rubbed the back of his neck slightly before he turned and started walking away. He couldn't just end a conversation like that, it just wasn't right. He turned quickly and looked her over before gathering his courage and speaking clearly to her, hoping he would stutter or ramble on. "Maybe we could hang out sometime? Since, ya know, we live in the same area and all. I mean, you don't have to, but I'd really enjoy hanging out...." he cut himself off, knowing that if he didn't he would go on forever.

A frown spread over Rileigh's face like a quilt on a bed during winter when Dane turned and walked away, but it soon disappeared when he turned back and spoke. She smiled, nodding. "I'd love to," She quickly pulled out a ripped and crumbled little piece of paper and neatly jotted down her cell phone number with a pen she found in her purse. She handed it to him and once he took it, she started to speak. "Just call or text me later and we can make out a date to hang out." She stuffed the pen back in her purse. "Well, I'll talk to you later, Dane. Talk to you later." She exclaimed with a smile before turning and walking around Dane to go check out. As she was walking to the cash register, all she wanted to do was scream of how happy she was.

Dane: Staring down at the numbers perfectly written down on the peice of paper, he almost had a panick attack. He had to call her? Surely he would spend the whole night devising a wonderful speech to say on the telephone, or would write and amazing text message twenty times before he thought it was even half good enough to send. Pulling out his wallet, he stuck the piece of paper inside carefully and shoved it back into his pocket. When he grabbed the dog food from the other aisle, he tossed it over his shoulder again and carried it to the nearest self check out.

After Rileigh purched the groceries, she got in her car and drove home. The drive back was silent, but the little voice in her head was loud. She was wondering if he would call or text her, and if he did, what would he say? How would she respond? Questions like this flooded her mind as she drove. Once she was home, she carried the groceries into her building, then into her room she shared with Amelia. Speaking of Amelia, she couldn't wait until she got home so Rileigh could fangirl with her. She and Amelia always fangirled over things like this.

Dane: He shoved the bag of dog food into his trunk after waiting a while in a long line for the self checkout. Seem those are popular. When he got into the car and drove home, he didn't expect to find Dilynn and Vinny outside. Of course, his sister was probably going to be angry that he had take. The only vehicle that they had, which he had taken from their parents. They never reported it, so he just called it a going away present. He got out and tossed her the keys, before grabbing the dog food from the back and walking up the steps to the front door. Hopefully his roommate wasn't home or awake. Either would do. The young guy was the opposite of him. He did everything so smoothly and never worried abot anything except wether or not his gym membership was going to expire.

I pulled out my money and laied for the coffees. "Dong worry I got it." I say and grab the coffees and hand her to her and stepped out of line.

"Oh, thanks." Amelia said with a smile. She took her coffee from his hand and took a small sip while walking with him to an empty table. Once they got to the table, she sat down and sat her coffee down in front of her.

After Rileigh put away all the groceries, she decided she would go to the park. She grabbed her iPod, phone, and headphones before walking out the door. She walked through the lobby of the dorm house, and as she did she put her headphones in and plugged them into her iPod. She turned on Dance With Me Tonight and hummed to the words as she walked towards the park. Once she got there, she took a seat on one of the low branches of the trees.

Dane: When he got to his room, he knew that his roommate was awake and hoped he wouldn't have to stick around for too long. Setting the dog food inside, beside his bed, he ignored the wools and holland from the fellow teenaged guy in the room. He already had his phone, so he just walked out again and went to find someplace quiet. His sister no doubt was going to find him if he went someplace obvious so he just went to an empty room and climbed out onto the roof. Now he had to prepare the perfect text message to send Rileigh, considering he was too shy to just call her. Deciding to go with something simple, he texted her with _Hey Rileigh, it's Dane. I'm not sure if this is too early to text you or anything, but I was wondering if you'd like to hangout right now? Maybe meet up someplace or something?_ He knew it sounded completely idiotic, but he sent it anyways, knowing he couldn't come up with anything better.

I smiled and sat down and took a bite of my donut and took a drink of my coffee. I looked at her and laughed alittle. "Are you like the shy type or something."
