Emma stolled down the side walk, hands shoved in her jacket pockets and her auburn hair floating in the breeze gently. Walking along side her was her best friend, Alex, who bobbed his head side-to-side to some unheard beat. Turning her head towards Alex, Emma snorted and punched his arm lightly, a grin spreading on her mouth. "What are you doing? Don't go crazy on me now!" she blurted, laughing as she spun around on her toes, falling into a bench and sighing. Rolling his eyes, Alex sat down beside her and tilted his head, raising an eyebrow. "Emma, how long have you known me?" Hiding her grin, Emma dropped her violet eyes to lap as she propped her legs up on the back of the bench, a guilty look on her face.
"Since 3rd grade…" she mumbled, still not meeting his gaze until he playfully knocked her feet off the bench, making her yelp and fall to the ground, laughing hysterically.

I texted my friend Ethan but it went to the wrong number (Emma). The text read, "Hey??? We going to the game or what?!" I looked around my house and sighed. It was too quiet without Melissa. I jammed my iPhone back in my pocket, grabbed my jacket and went out into the pouring rain.

Ariana
I sat at a bench across from two people being silly (Emma and Alex). I giggled and watched them quietly with my iPod blaring and my hands in my pockets. I shivered at the rain and shook my drenched head.

Emma sat back on the bench after reigning in her sanity again, still giggling from the moment as her phone buzzed in her pocket, making her jump slightly. Looking at Alex, she made a face and asked him to get her a pack of smokes. Sighing, he rolled his eyes and got up, saying as he left, "Those things are gonna' kill you, Em." Chuckling as he left, Emma pulled out her phone and read the text, narrowing her eyes and furrowing her brow. Shrugging her shoulders, she texted back, "Uh, sure, but who is this?". Rolling her eyes, she was about to lay down on the bench when she saw a girl with colorfully dyed hair. Getting up, she walked over and sat down next to her, sighing heavily. " Got to love the rain, huh?" she asked, hoping to strike a conversation when Alex walked back, tossing her the pack of cigarets and a lighter.

I looked at the unfamiliar number. "Er... My name is Tyler. Sorry, wrong number." I walked past my friend Ariana and pecked her cheek with a small kiss. She was like a sister to me. "Hey Ari!"

I nodded at Emma and giggled. It took me a minute to remember her name, but she went to school with me. I blushed as Tyler kissed my cheek. "Hey bro." I smiled and hugged him. Tyler waved to Emma and I smiled. I scrunched up my nose at the cigarrets and stuck out my toungue. "Ew."

Emma shrugged her shoulders when Ariana made a face at the cigarets, lighting up and sighing as she stated simply, "We all cope with our madness somehow." Taking a drag and blowing the smoke out through her nose, she looked up at Tyler and nodded her head in acknowledgment. Narrowing her eyes, she looked at her phone and read the number, looking up at him when she finished and asked, "Wouldn't happen to be your number, would it?" Grinning, she glanced at Alex who rolled his eyes and groaned, leaning against the wall of a building.

I looked at the number and frowned. "Yeah..." I laughed. "Sorry." (WB)

Ariana
I giggled. "I don't suffer from insanity, dear. I enjoy every minute of it. Let's go somewhere only we know." I looked at Tyler who simply rolled his eyes. I laughed. "Love you Ty!" I smiled at Alex and stood up. "Hi! I'm Ariana!" I stuck out my hand so he could shake it.

I rolled my eyes. Ariana and I had been in the same classes as Emma and Alex since sixth grade. Silly popular girl... Gotta love her.

Alex shook Ariana's hand and smiled, showing off his pearly whites as he straightened up, not leaning against the building anymore. "Alex. Nice meeting you, even though I've known you since the sixth grade," he joked, shaking his head and laughing softly.

Emma hummed under her breath and raised an eyebrow, smirking faintly as she laid down on the bench, not caring if she was getting wet. "Well, let's just hope it was an honest mistake and not you actually asking me to a game, because then we could have problems, princess," she mocked, a sly grin settling on her lips as she giggled to herself. Sitting up with a sigh, she looked at the three teenagers for a moment before asking, "Anyone want to get out of this rain and catch a flick or something?"

I laughed. "Sure!" I stared at Emma. She was certainly... Unique. I pulled out my phone and flipped through my files. I turned on Soul Sister by Train (I think that's who it's by) and started rocking out. I was happy when I saw Ariana laugh at me.

Ariana
I smiled. "Sure!!! I love movies!" I giggled and dropped Alex's hand. "Sixth grade? You sure?" I raised my eyebrows and blinked at him. I wiped under my eyes, knowing the mascara and eyeliner I was wearing were streaming down my face from the rain. I'm sure I did nothing but smear it when I wiped it but whatever. You people have no idea how fun it is to play the dumb girl! Believe it or not, I ace all my classes, never had a b before! I'm super smart, but that makes me super boring and irritating so I like to play dumb. I played with my hair. "So soft!" I squealed. Tyler knew I was really stupid but he liked to play along. Just to make me happy. I clapped and jumped up and down giggling.
