Akira: She waited for a wave to come then stood up when one door. She almost fell once but caught her balance. She surfed the wave out then waited for another. She watched Reiner while she waited.

Chase didn't move. He didn't turn around to Jess either. After a few minutes of quietly thinking to himself, he sighed and got up and walked home, he hoped Jess had turned her phone back on, so he texted her. Jess? he sent the message and then walked inside his house. He sat down at the bar in his house and got a drink of water.

Jace got tickets, popcorn, and a drink for both. Then he walked in the theater room (Is that what it's called? XD) and sat down.

Reiner laughed. Well, I hope I am. I mean, I've been surfing my whole life.



Jess looked at her phone, clearing her mind. What? She said, not snappy, but it appeared that way in the text. She threw her phone on her bed and grabbed her guitar, playing it. She played her favorite song that she wrote called "It's Good"



Katelyn followed Jace and sat down next to him, watching the movie when it started.

Chase read the message that she sent and then texted her back. Penny for your thoughts he sent then got up and walked to the window. After that, he just stared out the window, thinking about how he probably ruined his chance of at least being Jess's friend.

Jace watched the movie, and somewhere in the middle, he managed to put his arm around Katelyn. He didn't know what it was, but something felt weird. It was something he had never felt before when he put his arm around a girl...

Katelyn was eating her popcorn, eyes glued on the movie screen.



Jess looked at her phone. What is THAT supossed to mean? She texted back. She started to play Favorite Girl.

Jace also watched the movie, he mostly payed attention to Katelyn though...

Chase texted back. You've never heard that saying? It means I want to know what your thinking. He continued looking out the window after he sent the message.

Katelyn stood when the movie ended. That was a good movie.



Jess looked at her phone. Nothing... just singing... is all..... She texted baack.

Jace did the same. "Yeah." He said softly with a smile.

Chase looked at his phone and typed his message. I need to hear you sing sometime. I have a feeling you are very good. he sent it then sighed.

Katelyn nodded. So, wanna head over to my house or your house or something? She asked.



Jess texted him back. Oh, well... no one besides Katelyn has ever heard me...

Jace Shrugged. "It doesn't matter. Chase is probably back at my house right now, so we wouldn't be alone either way." He said to her.

Chase read the message. Cool. Speaking of Katelyn, arn't they on a date right now? He sent the message then he looked out the window to see if he could see Jace and Katelyn anywhere, but he couldn't.

Let's pretend he hasn't heard her. Lol

Katelyn shrugged. Jess is most likely singing soooo....



Jess looked at her text. She better be home soon or she is in huge trouble....

Jace nodded. "So, my place?" He said with a chuckle and smirk.

Chase texted her back. Just let it slide, it's their first date. And Jace may be a player, but he wouldn't do anything bad.

Katelyn nodded. Sure. She started to walk.



Jess texted back. Whatever..... She ignored his texts from then on. She sat on her window still playing her guitar and started to sing again.

Jace smiled and started walking to his house with her. When he arrived, he opened the door and let Katelyn go in, then he walked in and closed the door behind him.

Chase sighed when she didn't text him back after her last. He looked over at Jace and Katelyn. "How was the movie?" He asked.

Katelyn smiled, which was very similar to Jess's. It was really good. I'll have to get it on DVD when it comes out.





Jess groaned and continued to play her guitar. She played the song Better.

Akira smiles,"I used to surf all the time. But then i moved farther inland about 2 years ago. So i couldn't surf...this is really fun though." She flips some of her hair out of her face.

Jace smiled and looked over at Katelyn. He didn't say anything though.

Chase noticed Katelyn's smile; which reminded him of Jess... "You look like a mini version of Jess." He chuckled.

Reiner looked at Akira. Oh, that stinks. Well, at least you can again now.



Katelyn groaned, kinda annoyed with that sentance. Yeah... I get that alot....



Jess walked outside and sat in her hammock.

Jace finnaly spoke. "Katelyn, what do you want to do?" He asked.

Chase listened to Jace. "You know what, how about I leave you two alone." He said before walking out the door. He started walking down the road, his hands stuffed in his pockets. He passed Jess's house and stopped because he saw her in a hammock.

Jess had her guitar with her. She was strumming it and humming. She didn't notice Chase.



Katelyn looked at Jace. No idea. I've never been here before, genius. She laughed.

Jace chuckled. "True, uhm.. You want to go swimming? We have a pool in the back yard." He said.

Chase started getting closer and closer until he was about a yard in front of her. His hands were still in his pockets and his eyes were on her. He watched her strum the guitar.

Katelyn shrugged. Yeah, sure. But, I don't have my bathing suit so, I guess we can't do it.



Jess started to sing a little, it was late so no one would be around. She was singing "Favorite Girl" that she wrote.
