He chuckled and sat down on the curb next to Lawndree. “I would have gotten it off your nose if you asked.” He said, kissing her cheek. But Lawndree was the most independent girl he had ever met, so he wouldn’t expect her to. Jus to have her know that he would was good enough. At least, that’s what he thought. He tensed up and stood up next to Lawndree. He was two years older than her and about two feet taller than her. Aiden was about one foot taller than Josh, so he towered over him. Wrapping an arm around his girlfriends waist he shot him a cold stare. Aiden almost never glared at anyone with such anger before. Who was this guy to just come up to them while they were on a date and say that he wanted his girlfriend? That wasn’t happening. Not when he just got her back after so long. “I’m sorry Josh, Lawndree’s my girlfriend now. I’m sure you’ll be able to find another..” Although he sounded quite nice, his face said it all. It said that if Josh touched his girlfriend that would be the last thing he would ever do. “I think you should go..” He said, tightening his grip on her waist and pulling her closer against him.

Lawndree struggled to break lose from Aidens grip. "Who ever said I was your girlfriend, Aiden?" She said to him after breaking lose from him.

He looked at her confused and dropped his ice-cream on the ground. Aiden didn’t even notice. His bright emerald eyes kind of clouded over. What? What was she talking about? “Lawndree, you told me earlier that you broke up with him for me…what are you talking about?” He said, confused and hurt expressions crossing his usually cheerful face. His arms fell against his side as he looked between the two. “What’s going on?” He asked. Everything was confusing him. Wasn’t she his girlfriend? He grew bright red, did he misread that moment they had at the beach?

Lawndree nodded. "I know I said that, but you never asked me out, I never asked you out."

He rose an eyebrow, obviously still hurt that she might choose this character over him. “That kind of thing is obvious when you start kissing each other…” he muttered, not meeting her gaze. Instead, Aiden looked at the ground, but when he looked up his eyes were sad. “Well, Lawndree, if you want to go out with this guy…be my guest. I’m not stopping you. What friend would I be if I did?” He put on a fake smile and nodded at them both, turning to walk away.

Lawndree rolled her eyes at his attitude, then she turned back to Josh. "I'm not dating him, or you. I'm staying single, like my sister." She said then walked off toward her room in the hotel. When she got there she put on a Camouflage 2 peice bikini with a black coverup and flip flops. She pulled her blone hair back into a ponytail and headed to the beach. When she got there, she joined in on a volleyball game. She served a few times, and spiked. She loved volleyball, and she tried to fill her mind up with volleyball instead of Aiden.

Unlike Lawndree, Aiden could not get her off his mind. It was killing him. She had just acted as if they were together and just like that, broke it off. It was like a whole new Lawndree surfaced when she saw that guy. What was wrong? She said that they were dating when Alexandria popped up but suddenly when he tells Josh that they’re dating, it changes? It just didn’t make since. He sat down at a outside café and ordered a cappuccino, still thinking about Lawndree.

Lawndree sat down on the surface of the water and put her feet in after the game was over for a few minutes, then stood up and put her coverup back on, along with her flipflops. She walked to a café, not knowing that Aiden was there. She ordered a small Latté then sat down. When she saw Aiden, she was dissappointed that she came here. The last thing she needed was to see Aiden again.

He couldn’t take that sick feeling he held in his stomach. He stood up, leaving his drink on the table. Suddenly, he didn’t have an appetite for it. Instead, he walked over to Lawndree. Laying a hand on her shoulder before she could walk in, he sighed and then began speaking. “Lawndree…” He started, and then bit his lip. What should he say? Sorry? He thought that she was the one who should apologize to him, but he wanted nothing more than her back in his arms, “I’m sorry..” He muttered, looking up at her again. His eyes filled with desire. A desire to have her. “I-I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have over reacted.”

Lawndree turned to Aiden, slowly looking up to him. "I accept your apoligy." She said before she ran her fingers through her hair.
