Nico took a long pause before answering. "Well I really like you, and I love to draw my feelings down on paper or on the computer. I can do both."

Nico smiles. "That is good." He pauses, and then continues,"Wanna go out?"

I swallow hard. Is this really happening to me? "Yes." I utter that single word and am filled with glee.

Nico nodded. "When should I pick you up?"

"In 30 minutes, please." I told him, and we exchanged goodbyes and I began to get ready. I put on a medium length dress that had a white top and a blue skirt. I curled my hair and put on no makeup. Then I waited outside for him to arrive, twisting my hair nervously.

Nico nodded, and smiled. "See you then." He hung off the phone, and waited for 30 minutes. He didn't need to get ready. He was already looking alright.

I waited nervously, sitting down on the steps. I twisted my hair some more.

I waved shyly at him, tucking one strand of my hair behind my ear. "Sooo...where are we off to?"

Nico smiled and took his hand. "Alright. Let's go then." He starts to walk, heading over to the movie theater.

Nico walked into the movie theater and looked at the movie choices. "What do you want to see?" He asked, turning to face her.

"Sure!" We walked to the counter, he got us popcorn, and we walked into the theater just as the movie was starting.

Nico walked into the movie theater and looked around at the open spots. "Where do you want to sit?" He asked her.

I pointed up at the top seats, somewhere around closer to the middle. "There. That way we can see the movie...but people can't see us." I giggled at my little joke. I crack myself up.

Nico smiled, then laughed, and started to walk up there.

I followed him up there and the movie started. I leaned against his shoulder and I reached into the popcorn bowl. After a while it got scary and I hid my face in his chest.
