Story:
There was once a place called North America. But natural disasters raged and took their toll. Brutal wars broke out as people fought for the few remaining resources. The Earth was scarred and desolate, the people terrified and hopeless. But out of the ashes and the wreckage rose Panem, a nation made up of a great Capitol ringed by 13 Districts, which brought peace and prosperity to its citizens for many generations. Then the Dark Days came when the Districts tried to rebel. They were defeated and District 13 was destroyed in the process. To remind the Districts that they were completely at the mercy of the Capitol, the Hunger Games were created. Every year each District would send two tributes, a male and female between the ages of 12 and 18 and they would fight to the death in an arena. The last standing tribute was the winner. Their district would be showered with gifts of food and money and the tribute would live out the remainder of their lives in luxury in the Victor's Village in the District.

Rules:
1. Don't make it all about you.
2. You cannot kill off your main character unless you wish to withdraw from the roleplay.
3. No god-modding. You are not superhuman.
4. Please don't get carried away with details.
5. If you plan to get your character killed by another tribute or kill another tribute then please talk to the other roleplayer first to plan it out. Do it in PM so it's a surprise to the rest of us.
6. You must have one main character (that will live) and one sub-character (that will die). They do not have to be from the same district.
7. Limited cussing, don't drop the F-Bomb in every sentence.

9. No fading to black in the arena. Why would you do that? Do it when they escape. You MAY fall in love though.
10. Do not be afraid to start alliances!
11. Do NOT use characters from the Hunger Games series. Come up with your own people! They can also be any age between 12 and 18
12. You can have a Gamemaker character too to be on the council. You may also play a mentor.

So here is the sub-story. These Hunger Games will end as no other Hunger Games have ended before. Instead of one winning tribute, the tributes will somehow destroy the force field around the arena and escape. They will then rebel against the Capitol and take it down. This may take some time but then you are free to roleplay however you'd like once the Capitol has fallen. :)

District 1 : Luxury- District 1 makes the luxury goods that decorate and beautify our great Capitol.
District 2 : Masonry- Our nation would be nothing without District 2's superb stonework. Building the cities, Known for their strength.
District 3 : Technology- The most advanced nation filled with computers, electronics, etc.
District 4 : Fishing- That YUMMY Seafood is all from District 4
District 5 : Power- All power and nucleur stuff i in District 5
District 6 : Transportation- Cars, Trucks, Buses, all transportation needs are here
District 7 : Lumber- Paper and all wooden objects here~
District 8 : Textiles- The beautiful fabric and clothes are made here
District 9 : Grain- Bread, Rice, etc. All the grain you need.
District 10 : Livestock- Cattle is here all live stock and meat is here
District 11 : Agriculture- Farming is perfectly here
District 12 : Mining- All coal is here!

A forest setting that way there are many places to hide, and it won't be lame. It could be really hot in the day and cold at night and what not, but they would have ways to kinda live off the land still.

Forest and meadow with lake, ponds, streams, caves, etc. (hunger games book 1)
Jungle clock with no water except for ocean and water in trees, each section of island has a new horror for each hour (hunger games book 2)
tropical island with muttations and a volcano and ocean
labyrinth with traps such as real ponds and fake ponds that burst into flames when touched
disorienting place, such as being on ground and thinking you're in the sky. (kitty's idea)
