Maverick had no Idea what had happen. He rose from his seat and got rid of the tray when he was done and headed to the girls dorm. He sighed just looking at the front door.. He couldnt go in.. but Alyssa ran away for no reason... or like, she didnt tell him. He snuck in and went to her room, knocking on the door "Alyssa?"

I sniffled and kept my face buried in the pillow and cried. "I don't want to talk about it!" I cried. When I didn't hear anything from outside the door, I slowly got up and opened it. He was still standing there. My hands and arms dangled at my sides limply. "I'm sorry." I muttered.

Maverick felt like he was slapped in the face and pushed away, till she opened the door. He pulled her into a tight hug. "Nothing to be sorry about..You didnt have to run off like that though either." he pulled from her and wiped her tears "Why did you run...? Was it about a family member?" he moved some hair form her face and sighed.

Liam smiled and took her head in his hands,looking into her eyes "You are not yet ready to retire. Im sure one of the girls that survives for a while are sure to retire. You have only been here for a year. If you last long enough and you're an adult, you dont have to fight anymore, you can be with me. Then we can be bonded. But.. we can be bonded now if you wanted extra strength."

When we were outside, I began to sob. Ilet him hold me close and sighed shakily. "My sisters.... They're both gone.and one of them died because of me..."

Maverick followed her and soon pulled her into his arms as they stood outside. He listened to her sobs and he shook his head "Nothing can be your fault, Alyssa." he sighed and pulled from her, cupping her face "dont bkame anything on yourself..here you must let go of the past, this is the new life for you.. to manage to start anew. I know you may hate me for saying it but its the truth."

I processed what he was saying and nodded. I sniffled and looked at the ground. When he said I may hate him, I looked up and gave him a dirty look, anger filling my eyes. "No. I could never hate you, ever." I shook my head, my long hair flopping back and forth. "Don't even say that..." I looked up at him and kissed him. My little sister's face flashed over and over in my head but I tried to block her out. NO. I told myself. And she went away.

His heart felt so bad for her, she couldnt let go of the past and she hangs onto now and then. He kissed her more passionately, feeling her tears brush his face/

Emma had departed from her 'teacher' a while ago. Master Marshals. It was already sunset and close to cerfew. If she wasnt to her dorm on time, she was in for a big surprise. Thats where she headed to, the dorms. She had planned everything out on the way, get there, take a shower, get to the room, and relax to slide into her sleep. Getting so cought into the planning, she bumped into something- someone and quickly reacted "Im sorry." she said, glacing up to see Master Marshals. Again. "Hello, Master Marshals."

Emma nodded "yes, I am. Due to it almost being cerfew for me and the other girls. I heard you get punished if you're late." Emma didnt like getting punished in any way. It really bugged her and made her feel.. weak? Guess you can call it that. She looked around and noticed he was coming from one of the 2 paths. Either the Girls path to the girl dorm, or the other path to the boys 'castle'. But he was right in between so you couldnt tell "Would you mind me asking,but where were you coming from?"
