Lend bit his lip as he saw her look down and see them then go back inside. She was probably upset now. He felt horrible. Suddenly Rose appeared and she punched Casey. Casey fell to the ground and Lend's jaw dropped. "Rose! How could you think that? We were just walking by and I was thinking of coming to check on you..." He looked down and helped Casey up. "You okay, sweetheart?" He asked and saw Casey nod her head. "I'll be right back," he said then ran inside after Rose. "Rose! Wait!"

Rose her his voice and she shook her head, not facing him "No..please...I just..." she shook her head more "You've moved on. I cant go anywhere.." she sighed and sniffled, wiping her eyes "go ahead, Life your life. Mine is done. For a very long time." she couldnt stop crying "Letting her comment on me like that...was just over the line." she didnt want to cry but she was moody..

Lend sighed. "Rose. I told you that I have troubles with commitment. I've had three girlfriends since you. I don't think I could have stayed. Maybe we can hook up again. But you can't just go blaming me for everything." He balled up his hands into fists. "I can't just move one. I've tried. I miss you. Why can't you move on? Find someone new?" He jumped in front of her, blocking her path. "I was horrified that she called you that. I am so sorry."

Rose shook her head "No.. hooking up again with you would just mean another breakup and another heartbreak along with depression when I have a kid on the way." she didnt look at him, but she did put her head on his chest and cried harder "I have had no support" she sobbed "No one to help me.." she took a breath and closed her eyes "its just so hard.."

Lend frowned when she said she didn't want to hook up again. "Oh.....okay....I guess it's for the best." He looked down, disappointed. He suddenly felt her lean against his chest and cry harder. He frowned and wrapped his arms around her. It was their first embrace in many months. He rested his chin on top of her head. "I'm sorry that there has been no one to help you, Rose. I can be here to help you...I am the father after all...." He offered.

Rose felt his arms around her and thats what she missed, she then wrapped her arms around him in a hug "I just want you back.. So bad... I was tired of being alone.." she sobbed and sniffled trying to breathe. "I'm sorry for punching her..its just my moods have been out of control lately.. Having no one with you kinda throws you off..."

Lend smiled as he felt her return the hug. It was just like old times. His smile faded when he heard her words. "Rose...I'm sorry I broke your heart. I'm sorry I left. I don't know how I would manage to stay with you again. I don't want to hurt you all over again." He sighed into her hair. "It's all so complicated."

Rose sighed "Do you still love me..Lend?" she said, looking up at him. She was being careful with her baby bump since it tried to keep them apart. "I know I never stopped loving you.."

Lend sighed and glanced back at the door beyond which Casey waited. He looked down at her. "Of course I still love you, Rose," he said softly. "Why would you think that I ever stopped? Wait. Don't answer that." He said with a small chuckle.

Rose smiled and laughed alittle "Thank you so much.." she breathed calmly and sniffled "What are you going to do now, lend?" she cupped his face and took in every deatail.

Lend sighed and looked away when she asked what he was going to do now. "Probably...walk Casey home and come spend time with you." He looked at her and smiled, seeking permission to do so.

Rose smiiled and nodded "I would love it if you came back." she stood on her toes and kissing him lightly. She then pulled away and slid her hands down "I'll be in he apartment.' she took his hand and held it, hugging it to her "I missed you.."

Lend smiled. "Then I will come back." He flinched when he kissed her, remembering Casey. He swallowed nervously and nodded. "Okay..I'll join you up there once I get her home. I missed you too." He glanced back at the door and slipped his hand away. "I'll be back soon." He backed away then turned and walked back outside.

Rose nodded and then she went up to her apartment. She cleaned around alittle and then she got a water taking a sip and sitting on the couch. Relaxing and laying her head back. "Lend.." She said softly

Lend glanced up at her window once he was outside with Casey again. He was relieved that she wasn't watching as he put his arm around Casey's shoulders and walked off with her towards her house. They talked and laughed but something was nagging at the back of his mind. It was the thought of Rose. She was back in his life again. Things were about to get complicated. He dropped her off at her house and walked back to Rose's apartment. He walked upstairs and knocked on her door, sinking his hands in his pockets as he waited for her to answer the door.

Rose heard the door being knocked on and she got up carefully and walked over to the door, looking through the peephole and then opening it "Welcome back." she smiled alittle and pulled out a key for him "This is yours. I thought that maybe you would want your key back." she made it for him a while ago. Before she took it back. "Dont let anyone get ahold of it, okay?" she watched as he took it. Then she kissed his cheek lightly before walking over to the couch again and sitting down carefully. Her hand was helpping her body lightly down on the couch while the other rested on her stomach

Lend smiled when she opened the door. "It's good to be back." He pocketed the key and walked into the apartment, closing the door behind him. He walked over to the couch and helped her sit down then sat beside her. He folded his hands awkwardly in his lap. "So. Um. What do you want to do?" He asked, staring at the floor. This couldn't be more awkward. He hadn't seen here in months. He glanced at her stomach. "Do you know if it's a boy or girl? Does it have a name?" He asked, trying to make conversation to fill the silence.

Rose smiled alittle "Thanks." when she had helped him. "Err.. no not yet. I guess its still hard to tell since its only been what..3-4 months?" she relaxed into the couch "If it was a boy, I was planning on naming him Ryan. As for a girl, im not so sure yet, I think it was... Valissa right? Since shes my best friend."

Lend faked a smile and nodded. "Yeah I guess it would be a little early too early to tell.." He laughed nervously. "Well. I think those are great names." He smiled for real this time and leaned in to give her a kiss on the cheek. He hesitated but then his lips met her cheek quickly. He stood up and ran his fingers through his hair, another nervous habit. "Anything you need done around here? Anything to be cleaned? Or cooked? Anything?" He asked, hoping to have something to keep himself busy.

Rose shook her head "no, I did the cleaning and stuff like...yesterday." she watched as he stood "Theres nothing really to do but watch my moods or the tv or listen to music." she shrugged and ywaned. "I just..its hard doing things. But I manage to get them done somehow." sighing, she sat up alittle more "I missed you so much, Lend. I just felt like a wreck once you left."

Lend fidgeted then sat down beside her again carefully. "We can um...play a game? That would be fun." He said, trying to change the subject. She was treating him like her savior and it made him feel awkward. He sighed. "I missed you too. Can we just leave it at that?" He asked, getting a little moody himself even though he wasn't the pregnant one.

Rose nodded "I guess we can.. but what game would we even play..?" it was weird for Rose Hathaway to play a game like a child. But that was just her moods going again. "If I could, I would teach you to play the strigoi game but, I cant really fight or anything honestly."

Lend nods. "Yeah. I don't really need you hurting yourself or whatever. Pick a game. Any game." He offered her the choice. "We can play a verbal game like Truth or Dare or the Question game or we can play a board game like Life or Monopoly or whatever." He smiled a little and put his arm around her shoulders, getting used to her again.

Rose snuggled under his arm and thought about it "I think I have monoply or whatever in the closet, even though I havent played it in years.. I hope the pieces are still together as well." she didnt want him to get up again.. but he was faster then her since her belly slowed her down with getting up. She kissed his cheek lightly "I'm probly bad. But I used to be good back then"

Lend smiled and got up to get the game. He went into the closet and found Monopoly and Life. He held them both up. "Which one?" (I think Life could be funny, what with being able to 'get married' and 'have kids' lol dramaaaa) He walked back over to her and sat down on the couch.
