I send the text and just continue to cry. I then shut off my phone not boterhing to read the next tex.t

Lainee: I was walking around town with my boyfriend .. uhh. His name's Pete. Awwh. That reminds me of Peeta so muhccch. Stop thinking about him .. I told myself. I walked by a bakery and lookd at Pete. "You wanna go get some cookies or something?" I ask. Pete shrugs and nods. "sure. come on." I nod and walk in and wait on line. Once it's our turn in line Pete starts to ask for the cookies and then I see him. "Peeta..."

Peeta: I had a temporary job at the bakery, while I waited for my house to be bought. I heard the jingle of someone coming in and looked up. "Hello, welcome to-" I stop short, when I see Laniee. I thought about her everyday. At least, I'll be making her happy by moving somewhere else.

Lainee: I frown a bit. "Uh. Hey Peeta .." I look at Pete. He was too busy talking to someone about buying cookies. "Uhm. What are you doing working here at the bakery?" I raise an eyebrow. "Oh. Yeah. You make cakes really well." I nod. "So .. how've you been?" It really took all of me to hold back my tears or to give Peeta a big hug and beg for him to be my friend again. You could see the pain my eyes though.
