Maddie giggles, "You realize you're not wearing a shirt, right?"

Jesse smiles at Rex and pets his head. He walked upstairs to his puppy. He bends down pets the puppy.

Maddie bit her lip, noticed he had stuttered. She could tell he looked worried. She didn't know what to say to him. She opened her mouth to speak, "I'm sorry Jake." She walked away. She texted Amber this: "I'm so so so so so so stupid."

Amber looked at her phone and replied, "How?"

Maddie looks back at Jake then keeps walking. A tear went down her cheek as she texted back, "I just ruined my chances with Jake."

Amber sighs and walks to Jake's house.

Jake: His midnight blue eyes went black as his heart dropped. He just stood in the door way shocked. He went to say some thing to her, but not a word came out.

Amber handed her phone to him. "Take this. Read the texts and reply, acting like me."

Maddie waits for Amber to reply to her text. She was walking down the street crying.
