I stand up a bit straighter and smile big. "My name is Devin. Devin Anderson. Nice to meet you Arrow. You know, I like your name... It's different." I hold out my hand, hoping that she would shake it. I wouldn't want to be left hanging like an idiot.

She shakes his hand. "Thanks. And this little girl," she points to her daughter, "is Reanna." She sighs, the memory automatically coming back. She looks behind him seeing all of the lights. She noted one of these nights she needed to draw those. She feels her little girl wake up. "And apparently she has decided to join us."

I chuckle slightly and look over at Reanna. "Well, nice to meet you too, then." I look back at Arrow and frown slightly. "Why haven't I seen you around town before?" I really never seen anyone. I mean, obviously I see them, but I don't actually talk to most people. Just the old ladies and nice families on my mail route.

She shrugged. "I don't get out very much." She smiled at Reanna. "Who he?" Arrow smiled at her little girl and answered. "A nice guy mommy just met." She then really took in the looks of the guy, rather cute. He looked a lot like her ex boyfriend (I'm running out of things to say). She set her daughter down and then smiled at him.

"You know, you seem like a really cool person. Maybe we should hang out sometime, if you would like." I smile and look down at Reanna and then back up at Arrow. She seems like a really nice girl. One who I might have a chance with. I mean, she's really pretty, beautiful almost! And her little girl was really cute too. What can I say? I like kids. :3

She nodded, "That sounds like a good idea." She watched as Reanna climbed onto Devin's leg. "Oh, god. Sorry." She pulled Reanna off of his leg. She seemed to have a acutal chance with this one.

I chuckle and smile. "No, it's no problem. In about eight months time I'll have my sister's kid climbing all over me." And after realizing what she said at first, my face brightens up a bit more. "Oh, great! I'll give you my number than..." I pull out a little note book where I kept my schedule every week for work in. I rip out a page at the back, and I scribble down my number, and write at the top 'Devin Anderson (:'. I hand it to her and smile, like an idiot. "There we are."

She smiled. She picked up Reanna again, "Tell your sister that it'll be hard at first but she'll get used to it." She took the number and smiled down at it. "I'll call you. See ya later." Reanna smiled at him, "bye!" She walked away.

I chuckle and walk the other way that they were, turning around once to look for them. I smile a bit and keep on walking forward, back to my little apartment. Yup...All by my lonesome. (After I get back to my apartment) I get back, and I drop my keys, wallet and note book on the table by my door. I walk over to my one and only chair, and I plop down in it. I turn on the TV and set my phone next to me, all the way on high, just in case she calls... One can dream, right?

She gets back to her aparment and puts Reanna on the bed, tucking her in. She then picks up the number and her phone. She dials in the number and listened to the ring. She knew she was just crazy, but she had to do it.

I watch TV peacefully, until my phone blasts the ringtone. I almost fly out of my seat, but I take a deep breath, and I look at the screen. Just a number... Must be Arrow! I pick up my phone and press the talk button. "Hello?"

She smiled. "I just wanted to make sure ou didn't give me a fake number. So, what are you doing? I hear a TV." She laughed and looked at her daughter and saw her ex boyfriend, but the image changed and became Devin.

Devin:
"Aw. That hurt a little." I say jokingly, and I chuckle slightly. "Why would I give a girl as nice as you a fake number? But yes, I am watching TV... The news. It was just the channel that came on." I sigh and pick up the remote, flipping through the channels.

She smiled again, she sat on the bed, making sure not to disturb Reanna. "Nice? I've never got that before." She takes her sketch pad out and goes to the window, pushing the curtains open and she starts to draw. She had an amazing veiw, it was the reason she chose this one.

I raise an eyebrow, even though I knew she wouldn't be able to see. "You've never been told that you're nice? How?"

She smiled, "Well, when I was a teenager I wasn't the nicest." She looked at Reanna and thought of her ex boyfriend again.

Devin:
I smile and chuckle under my breath. "That doesn't seem like it could be true. You seem like a sweet girl!" It was true. I had only talked to her for a short while, and I felt like I already knew her. Was that bad? No, I don't think so... That means that I would get along with her easy, right?

She shrugged, then realizing he couldn't see her she replied, "I don't know, may have been my mom's fault." Crap. Now I've told this guy about my mom. She remembered what happened last time she told someone that. The result was Reanna and her falling in love, then a heartbreak.

Devin:
"Your mom's fault? How so?" I raise an eyebrow, and then put it down, realizing I was on the phone. I switch the channel to the movie "Land of The Lost." I turn the TV down and put the remote back down on the table.

She smiled. "Nothing." She yawned. "Hey, I'll call you tommorrow, maybe we can see each other tommorrow."

I smile and lean back in the chair, chuckling a bit. "Yeah, that would be nice. We'll figure out the place and time tomorrow, okay?"
