Dark Nights.
STORY.
. It's been quite a while since the sun shined all nice and the grass grew green with little rabbits hopping around. Back then, no one really had to worry too much. No one cared much for politics or which side had more power.
Now's different. You can't walk down the road without hearing of who's in power or who's getting there. Walk down the road if you'd dare; they'll jump you. It wasn't more than three years ago that the radiation wiped out almost everything I knew. Whoever was left, instead of trying to rebuild like they always preached, they fought each other. For what, I couldn't understand. They call it power, but no way in hell were the other group going to submit to them. Ever since that explosion, I couldn't wake up a day without fearing I might not wake up the next.
It wasn't all that bad, though. I love the my gang. Really. Everyone had the same goal in mind and this was the reason we came together. Some had a little more ambition than others, and this I grew to despise.
For me, all I wanted was that I couldn't get, for I knew that the sun would never shine nice over the green grasses nor would the rabbits come out again..

She is pretty cruel too, but she does know what to do when it comes to fighting. She is very tough, and skilled in throwing stuff. Julilete is very mysterious, and you always want to know more about her because she puts on a very lasting impression. She can't keep any secrets and goes off spreading them to anyone she can, so don't trust her with that. Crush: You want her, Come get her. Crushing creates stress, and that leads to unattractiveness.
Boyfriend/Girlfriend: She needs princess treatment. Only prince charming will do.<3

She is like a ray of sunshine, bringing happiness and light wherever she goes. A lot find this annoying, but hey. Re: Dark Nights.
Andy was shivering in his house and peeking out of the window, his eyes searching around. Nobody was in sight, but he didn't trust his own instincts every since a couple of nights ago when he was nearly chopped in half by a flying dagger.
He was innocently walking around with no protection but a small rock about the size of his palm. The rock couldn't do much but stun someone for a couple of seconds to give himself a head start on running, but it was worth it. It could possibly be the only thing that kept him alive, so he cherished this palm sized rock. Andy wasn't watching carefully as he walked on the borderline that seperated Side A and Side Z. He was in plain sight, and Andy didn't even realize it. As he walked back to his small little home with a barbed wire fence around a dagger flew out of nowhere, scratching his cheek as it sped past him and landed on the ground.
Andy nearly screamed out like a little girl when it happened, and his eyes were shut, and he opened one and noticed that a boy was.. GROWLING at him? Yeah, actually growling. This boy had light brown hair that sticked in every direction and his shirt had several small holes with messy pants and battle scars on his hands, and blood spatters. Andy screamed out, yes, actually screamed out, and ran back and the boy followed him. All that was going through Andy's mind was shit, shit, shit, shit, shit. He was going to die, and Andy silently prayed under his breath that somehow he grew wings and just fly right out of there. The boy behind him was faster, but Andy's home was closer as he grabbed the door handle, and the boy grabbed the dagger at the same time.
The boy threw the dagger and it flew in a perfectly straight line for the small of Andy's back. Andy had the door opened and he shut the door quickly and then felt the THUD of the dagger sticking into his door. Andy was breathing heavily, and he was shaking all over. He heard the boy grumble and take the knife out and Andy peeked out, watching the boy run back to Side A before anyone on Side Z killed him. Yeah. Andy thought sarcastically, like anyone would be able to kill that guy. Andy had already made a new enemy, he had guessed.
The thing is, Andy wasn't the cold hard killer liket he boy on Side A that threw the dagger at him was. Andy had innocence still inside his teenage boy body, and he got chills thinking of stabbing someone, watching the life be sucked out of someones body. Worse thinking about that was thinking it could happen to him any day. Andy got goosebumps thinking of it, but he knew it would happen. Andy wouldn't survive, he wasn't tough enough. He would give up his life for anybody on Side Z, even Side A. He'd rather die that way before these little games get worse and someone goes physco. It'll happen, you watch.
Andy opened the book and peeked his head out and bit his lip, tip toeing out and running behind a tree just in case dagger boy was watching him and made an attack. Andy looked around and began to climb up the tree, his foot not slipping on any branch as he climbed like a little squirell. He sat up in a branch half way up, and looked down on his side, Side Z, and looked for someone, anyone, that looked tough and that could protect him form the dangers.
The dangers... Andy shook his head. He couldn't even step outside for a few seconds without thinking of who is out there waiting in the bushes getting ready to kill him. Was this how he was supposed to live life forever? In fear that he was going to die? Was there never going to be happiness? Andy couldn't think of the last day where he actually smiled, or laughed. It had seemed forever, and maybe it was actually forever ago. How did he even end up here, fighting for his life with just a small little stone?
Gosh, Andy sighed loudly shaking his head, it was going to be a very long day in this tree. He looked down for dagger boy, but he was nowhere in sight and he sighed in relief, setting his head back and closing his eyes for a bit.
"You all are wusses!" She screamed at the boys and girls hiding in their homes, shuddering, and hiding under their beds. "Nowhere is safe, you stupid muggles! Nowhere! You're going to die one way or another, so deal with it! Get out of your houses, Side A. We can win this if you get out and start smashing skulls, and ripping hearts out! Then we'll be safe again! It's their fault!" Julliete was screaming from a tall tree, her voice loud echoing through the town, her head high, and she stroked the bows and arrows that were slunged over her right shoulder. They were heavy and leaving an indent on her shoulder, but she could manage it. Her eyes searched around on the other side, Side Z, just in case someone decided to run on their side. She was known as the protector on her side, and she never kept her eyes off the boundry line. If anybody tried to passed it from Side Z to Side A, she would shoot a bow straight through their eye.
She also shot squirrells, deer, racoons, really anything that had meat on their bones for the town. She was good at hunting, so she must have been good at killing people. She hadn't killed many, only one, and she was a very easy kill. She was a bigger girl and the poor girl was only trying to steal food from them. The smell of squirrell must have traveled to the girls nose, and she wanted some, and instead of waiting until night, she went in broad daylight. Julliete shot a wooden arrow straight in her eye perfectly and the girl didn't even know what was happening when she fell on the ground dead and white. People from Side Z quickly got the word that Julliete was up in the tree watching their every move and nobody dared to come and pass the border line in plain sight, unless they were brave.
Julliete intimidated them, and crazy lies got around that she practically LIVED in the tree, which was not true. She actually was rarely in there, so really people could pass whenever they wanted, she probably wouldn't catch them, but let them go on and thin what they wanted. Stupid people, she thought chuckling.
She jumped from the tree, and looked around, her eyes catching movement in the woods. She creeped over slowly, pulling her arrow back, and aiming towards the rustling around. It moved in different directions and felt like the stomp of leaves under someones shoes. "Who's there? Show yourself, now! I'm not afriad to shoot you with this arrow, mark my words!" She said fiercly, her eyebrows furrowing, frowning. "I said show yourself you stupid human!" She spatted.
(anybody can join that lol)
Caleb grumbled lowly as he awoke covered in multi colored leaves that had fluttered to the ground from the tree that was above him. Clouds covered the sky and rain pittered and pattered very lightly on the ground, you could barely hear or feel it unless you really concentrated. He groaned as he sat up and sretched, his dark brown eyes searching around the place for anybody at sight. Caleb rubbed his head because it felt a bit sore from when he laid his head on that rock that he used as a pillow. Caleb had rather choose that rock than sleep in his own home. If he did, someone was sure to sneak in and stab a knife through his knife without a sound.
It was hard to think that yesterday could have been your last day, or maybe tomorrow, or even today. Each day Caleb woke up he had to face these woods in fear of his own life in risk. Someone would always be out to kill him, and he would never be safe until he was dead. Caleb wasn't scared though, and if he was, he was never going to admit that to anyone. Why should anyone know that the all mighty Caleb had fear? That's right, nobody should know. Most of the people on his side, Side A, knew that he was one of the toughest guys on the team because he had a mighty throw, and could lift tons.
Caleb had killed one or two people on Side Z, and he would never forget the looks in their eyes before he smashed their skull with a rock, or pounded them to death with his fist. The look was innocence, and fear. Each time Caleb fell asleep, he saw the face of the boy on Side Z, his wide baby blue eyes staring back at him, a tear pouring out of his eye as he held a spear above his head ready to lunge for Caleb. Caleb didn't know the boy, and maybe that was the best not to know who you kill. I mean, he had to do something right? That was the whole point of this fighting, wasn't it? Because both sides hate eachother with a passion for an unkown reason that everyone wants to know? Whatever it was, it cost two boys lives, lives that Caleb took. He remember the last words they said, mostly pleas to stop, or not to do it, but Caleb knew he had no choice if he wanted to survive. The only way to survive was kill every last person on Side Z.
He had tried to kill one boy with his flying dagger trick, but damn that pipsqueak was fast. He hopped into his home like a bunny just as Caleb stabbed his dagger through that door. Caleb felt a bit relieved because he didn't feel like having more dry blood crammed in his finger nails tonight. It was to much work to dig it out, and it made him look like some physcotic heartless guy when he didn't, he just wanted to survive.
Most people on Side Z tended to stay away from Caleb, because word gets around pretty quick around here. If someone dies, it doesn't take long to notice someone is missing. Usually a friend finds out, and sometimes a love intrest will too if they have one, but usually people don't take the time to fall in love in a hell hole like this. Side Z had heard about Caleb's gruesome kills and stayed away from him to keep safe.. for now. He knew one or two people on their had no fear and were probably slowly planning his death now. Caleb shuddered, thinking of his lifeless body on the dirt road, the birds singing a death song, Side Z chanting in happiness as they high fived over his death.
Caleb shook the thought out of his head as he got up fully, brushing the dirt from his torn khakis. He was used to sleeping outside by now, and it kept him alive, so he would continue to do it. He got up and poked his head out, his eyes searching around the roads for a sign of life anywhere. The rain had halted to a stop but the clouds still hung low in misery, just like every day. The moon was gone, but there was no sun either to greet them. It must have been a quiet day then today, and besides, usually Side A and Side Z didn't kill eachother out in the open, and tend to kill more at night, it was easier.
Caleb checked his back pocket and felt his dagger that was tucked in his back pocket and held it in his hands plain in site to everybody. Caleb hadn't been to his house in a day or two since an arrow was lodged in the middle of his door when he walked in the door. He was nearly hit with it, and he was lucky. His face had dirt marks on it, and his light brown hair hair was a bit tossuled. His tan khakis were ripped and had dried blood on them, and his black swoop neck tee shirt had a hole on the side of it, small but noticeable.
He called out, "Hello?" To anyone on his side, Side A. It was better to walk around with someone because then you have twice the chance of surviving. Caleb didn't have a great liking on anybody on his side, but he managed to say a few words to everyone. He wasn't excatly looking for friends, who would?

Re: Dark Nights.
Chris watched as the boy from A chased his fellow side Z member back into his house from a distance, safely hidden behind a large building. Had it been another boy or even a girl from A, he wouldn't have hesitated to kill. But it was just that same boy, and there was no way that Chris could kill him without losing his own life. That same boy that kept coming back to kill anyone who nears the border. He himself knew never to come close to the border, but there were some others that keep forgetting. But how could you forget? Chris couldn't understand these things.
There wasn't so many of the side Z people left. Actually, there use to be two other teams: side B and side X, but those teams didn't last very long. Chris remembered when someone told him that a gang of side A killed the last side B. He zone out of the gruesome details that followed, for he couldn't get over the fact that there really only were two teams left.
Side Z was no team of angels, either. Maybe that's why the two teams, A and Z, were the last two to survive. Personally, Chris was no fan of such gruesome tactics, but ruthlessness was the reason for the survival of the two groups. He himself had been a part of one killing, but that was about it. It was of a girl, probably somewhere from 10-14, earlier this year. After the death of a side Z member, a relative and himself went off to search out the killer. Crossing that border gave him nasty, unpleasant feelings inside. He remembered kicking down the man's door, but they didn't find the man himself. Instead, the large dark brown eyes of a frail and sick looking girl locked on the two intruders. It had to be the man's daughter, for there couldn't have been anyone else in his residence. "Kill the girl," he remember suggesting. "I'll watch in case he comes back." As the relative advanced closer, Chris noted that the girl didn't move from her fixed position at the corner of the room. She didn't move when the man grabbed her, but fell limp when he broke her neck. It was a sickly crack. He remember being told to leave the body of the mad girl there. "To show him we can get back at them just as easy." The two of them retreated back to their own side of the land as quickly as they came.
As the boy with the dagger stormed back to his own side of the territory, Chris noted his path: he turned right at the fourth tree. Side A was going to get him someday. Someday. It was no time in the near future, but Side Z always managed to achieve what they wanted.
Someday. Someday, he promised himself. Maybe then, they could eliminate all of Side A as well.

Re: Dark Nights.
Christian sat in a tree, his back pressed up against the bark of the old tree. It's been here as long as he could remember. As long as the two sides had been fighting. They've been fighting so long that he'd forgotten what they started fighting about. That didn't stop him from killing them. Christian got a certain satisfaction out of it. Like he was doing something right. A smile curved up to his lips as he pulled out his pocket knife. He always had it on him. You never knew when you needed it. Christian didn't even have to get dirty when he killed someone with this knife. His aim was spot on. All he had to do was aim for the neck. Bam. Dead. He chuckled and stuffed the old weapon back into the pocket of his sweatshirt.
Christian sighed and closed his eyes for a second. They immediately snapped open when he heard the crunching of feet. His body tensed up and his hand shot to his pocket for his knife. Juliete sauntered out, eyes scanning her surroundings. Silly Juliete. She never thought to look up. They had known each other ever since they were kids and Christian always got a kick out of fucking with her.
He jumped down behind her and pulled his knife out, holding it to her neck. "Come with me and no one gets hurt." He whispered in her ear, his arm encircling her waist. Christian smirked and pulled her away into the cover of the leaves. He put his knife away and held her arms so she couldn't move, but so his arms were still around her and his chin was on her shoulder. "(; HEYYYBBY."

Re: Dark Nights.
Daravia
Her pitch black hair hung over her face, her two red streaks hanging right over her eyes. She slept in a dumpster. It was flipped over so there was no way in or out without flipping it over. She was in an abandoned area, with rundown, long evacuated houses. Yet she slept in a dumpster. People expected their enemies to live in houses, but they didn't expect overthrown dumpsters. She groaned and rubbed her bright green eyes, stretching and listening to the cracking sounds her stretching made. She pulled her sack over her to her and slipped her switchblade in her pocket. In her bag she had an overused water bottle, two sandwiches (one half eaten), a lighter, and several ninja stars. She had a gun in her pants pocket as well. Daravia had to be well protected. She was on what she thought was the weaker team. Side Z. But she could never be on side A. Side A was the side her dad was on and he was the one who killed her mom. Though he was dead too, just the thought of being on the side he was made her sick. So she was on side Z. It didn't really matter though, she hated everyone. She planned to defeat side A then the survivors of side Z so she was the only one left. Now to kill people. She wasn't sure how many people she had killed or injured but it didn't matter anyway. She didn't really have much emotion. She just lived through the day and killed as many people a she could. She wasn't really sure why she went out and killed people. It wasn't like they did anything to her. But it didn't matter. They would all be dead one day anyway, it was just up to them to decide when that day would be. She dug more of the hole on the edge of the dumpster and sucked in her stomach to wiggle out of the dumpster. After a few minutes she was out. She reached under and grabbed her bag, pulling it out and swinging it onto her back. She brushed herself off and pulled her hood over her head to hide her face. She headed to the more populated part of town and went through some alleys to find her way to where she wanted to get. She smashed the back window of someone's house and took out her lighter. She lit some sticks on fire and threw them inside. The curtains caught fire almost immediately, and soon smoke was everywhere. She pulled her sleeve over her nose so she could breathe better and quickly lit the dead grass on fire too, hoping to set a big fire and get people running. She went to two more houses and did the same thing. Soon enough, a huge fire was blazing and people were running around screaming. She ran out of the smoke, coughing and gagging, before pointing at nothing. "THEY WENT THAT WAY! IT WAS THE PEOPLE FROM SIDE A!! IM GOING TO KILL THOSE FUCKING BASTARDS!!!!!!" she screamed out to arouse more anger against the other side. The angrier people were, the better they fought. Fire was everywhere. She put her lighter back in her bag and watched as a tree with a person in it caught on fire. She rolled her eyes. What was that idiot doing in a tree? He was dead now. She watched as the flames caught onto the trunk of the tree and reached out for the boy. Then she turned when she heard a screaming. A girl about her age was running and flailing her arms. She was on fire, and Daravia watched as she burned to the ground. One down, 1,000 to go.

Re: Dark Nights.
Her heart stop as she felt a knife touch her neck lightly, not hard enough to cause a cut, but it caused a sudden rush of adreneline, and hear heart was beating out of her chest as millions of thoughts wirled her head. Was she going to die? Was this it? God dammit, she should have looked up! It took her just a few more moments to realize that this voice was familiar, and not the voice of a boy who was ready to stab her to death.
She exhaled and felt like wiping the nonexistent sweat off her brow, but of course, she couldn't do that because Christian pinned her arms to her side. She rolled her eyes and locked her eyes on Christian sticking her tongue out at him, "You're a jerk." She muttered frowning "I thought you were going to fucking kill me! Don't do that again." She said sighing "If I was able to move, I'd slap you right now." She muttered under her breath, shaking her head.
Christian and Julliete grew up together, and have been pretty close friends for a while now. Her family took him in and Julliete never really heard much about Christian's parents other then that they gave birth to him. Apparently he didn't know either, his theory was he wasn't born from human beings, but from zebras. When he said that, Julliete confirmed that he was an ok kid for being obnoxious and stupid. She has been able to managed with him for now, but who knows, maybe she'll snap one day and stab him through the gut. But of course, that wouldn't be very lady like of Julliete now would it (:
"What do you want?" She asked him.

Re: Dark Nights.
Nella.
Nella was awoken by something sharp piercing her thigh, and in first instinct she jumps off the ground to attack. But these people arn't from side A, their from her side, Z. "Morning Princess!" A girl exclaims, poking her spear into Nella's leg repeatedly. "Sleep well?" A boy asks from behind her, and she can hear him snicker. She is surrounded by people her age, each one of them towering over her by at least a foot. There was 4 boys and 1 girl, each one covered in dirt and filth. Most of the people here were anyway, but compared to them Nella was squeaky clean. There was one boy that everybody watched, and she could tell he was the leader in this little allience. She guessed he was the strongest, and the rest followed him around to insure protection. They walk in circles around her for a long time, each looking her up and down scilently. "We should just kill her now. It's going to happen anyway, why delay it." The girl says finally, and Nella rolls her eyes. "Why? Jealous of all this are you?" She motions down her small, fragile body and smiles. The girl mutters something under her breath and starts to point her spear in Nella's direction, but one of the boy's grabs it and chucks it across the field. "Why kill her? Its another person lost. Anyway, she's fun to keep around." He chuckles along with his friends and looks her up and down one last time, his eyes stopping at her chest and butt, before walking away. His little minions follow close behind, walking in sync with the leader of their group. "Oh yeah. You better run. Nella Jones is all fired up, yo!" She yells after them, but none of them bother turning around to look. Nella smiles, does a couple slashes in the air with her pocket knife, and heads on her own way.
Nella walks around for a while, stopping at the lake to wash up. She can see her reflection in the muddy water, and she can tell she is a lot cleaner than those kids. Of course she had dirt under her fingernails, cuts, dried blood, but she was one of the few that actually cared how she looked. Her beach blonde hair was pulled into a high ponytail to get rid of knots, and she had fashioned a hair tie out of leaves and flexible sticks. Her pale skin was traced with dirt, scars and cuts which she hated, but the one thing she was proud of was her scar over her eyebrow. It was her sexy scar, as she called it:) It was in the shape of a heart because the girl who almost killed her asked what she wanted her 'dying symbol' to be and she had chosen a heart. But somehow some boy had come swooping in to save her(OHEMGEE TRAV TRAV.), and ran away without any trace. But anyway, continuing. She was dressed in black shorts that had been ripped and made from black pants, a red tanktop with a Z in the right corner, and some old shoes that were called Converse. She stole clothing practically everyday, most of her clothes coming from the bodies of dead girls. But hey, their dead so they wont care anyway. Nella was called Princess because of her need to be looking attractive, and made fun of a lot because of it too. People called her a side attraction, no help to Side Z, Prissy.. but none if it affected her. While those ugly girls with dirt for skin and knots in their hair went and died, Nella was all pretty and safe back home:)
After she cleans up a bit she walks into the field, and looks over at Side A. One boy sees her and tries to throw a spear in her direction, but misses and hits a tree right beside her. "Close! Try again next time!" Nella yells, smiles at him and does a little bow. The boy grunts and runs back into the saftey of Side A's house, and a couple of other people follow him in. Nella pulls the spear from the tree next to her and studies it, frowning at it's plain, white color. So she heads in to a bush and grabs some purple berries, poisonous to eat but great to color things with. She breaks open some berries and squishes them on the spear's handle, and in minutes the white has transformed into a beautiful violet color. Now Nella has a spear and a pocket knife as weapons. "I can turn into a ruthless killer and be all, 'Im gonna kill you with my pink spear.' And then I'll kill everyone and Side Z wins and I turn into queen of the world!" She assures herself, smiling and sitting down behind a tree, out of sight from anybody on the other side of it. Being small had it's upsides, you know:)

Re: Dark Nights.
"Hello?"
Apparently no one decided that they wanted to answer his 'hello'. Food could probably wait. Maybe they'll even have a run in with something that she could eat. "Hello," Ivy echoed Caleb's call. He should recognize her voice; everyone knew everyone by now. Everyone alive knew everyone else alive. Dead people were usually people who didn't give a crap about taking over.
Wait, how many people were left over there? If Side A has a numbers advantage, then they could probably go all out war and come back. She ducked underneath the low tree branch, careful not to step on any traps. Those traps belonged to her fellow Side A people, but they were used for animals. And Side Z.
"Caleb?"

Re: Dark Nights.
Calebs ears perked up at the call of his name, and he reconigzed the voice instantly. "Ivy." He hissed under his breath quietly, loking down, hopping over traps, and strings. Caleb bit his lip as he strategically rolled under several strings Daravia and him had set up a coupe of days ago to make anyone from Side Z tangled up so they could stab the life out of them.
"Ivy, where are you?" He asked lowly and then he found her standing, looking for him as well. "Hey Ivy." He called to her, and went to her, looking around. "You seen Daravia and Nella?"
Caleb was the only boy in this little group they had put together. It really wasn't anything he got mad at, he knew he could achieve a lot with these girls. Ivy was very strategic in a way, knew how to work her way around really any other trap. She was extremly smart in a way, probably the smartest in the group, and coming up with good plans for them. He thought she was decent, but Caleb never really took a liking in anybody, but if he to choose, he wouldn't kill her.
Daravia was probably the closest to him, and he and her weren't even that close. They met eachother a few weeks ago and instantly decided on not killing eachother after a blood bath they had on a misunderstanding on being opposite teams. Daravia was wearing "Team A" jacket on her but it wasn't because she was on Team A, but because she used it to keep warm. Caleb stabbed a knife through her thigh, and Darvia quickly turned around and stabbed his arm. They rolled around in the dust a bit just stabbing eachother anywhere they could. Finally, after loosing half a pint of blood, and breathing heavily, they found out they were on the same side. It didn't stop from hatred bruning in their lungs, but sooner or later they got up, cleaned their cuts, and Caleb invited her to the group with Ivy and him. Daravia was the toughest girl in the group, she knew what to do with anything sharp in her hand, and could kill anything. He liked that.
Nella wasn't the most useful on the group, but when she got angry she was very quick and could throw pretty good. She was hot too, so that wasn't really bad either, but it was a distraction. Nella was a good cook too, so that was good. Caleb has found out that the best wepon for Nella was a pink spear, yes a pink spear. He barely let it slide because it made the team look foolish, but it made others think she didn't know how to use it, so he would let it slid.
"Daravia? Nella?" He called quietly.

Re: Dark Nights.
Daravia
She heard her name and knew it was Caleb. She walked towards the sound of his voice until he came into view. "Whats up, motherfucker," she said when she came closer to Caleb. She pretty much hated everyone but only stayed in this little group because they were decent fighters. Except Nella, but Daravia couldn't cook for her life so she kinda needed her. She needed Ivy for planning since Daravia usually did stuff as she went along, which wasn't always so great, and Caleb was a dickhead so he wasn't afraid to kill even a little baby if it posed a threat. Their team was pretty good. She wanted to use them to take out all of team Z then she would see about convincing them to take out the rest of team A as well. Once it was just them left she would probably try to kill them too. She figured she would have to go for Caleb first and get him by surprise since he was the strongest and if she killed Nella or Ivy he would know he would be targeted eventually. She wasn't even sure she COULD kill Caleb and still survive herself. She knew Ivy would be hard to kill as well, but not as hard as Caleb. Nella would be a piece of cake. She could kill her whenever she wanted as long as nothing pink was around her. Especially not pink weapons. For some reason pink stuff made Nella stronger. Like she was an alien who needed pink to function properly. If she had the power of pink on her side she would be about as tough as Ivy. She actually liked Nella the best because she knew Nella wouldn't be able to kill her. Ivy was second of course because Caleb was the last. She saw him as a threat even though they were supposed to be 'teammates' because he was just as powerful as she was. So she despised him with bitter hatred. She hoped maybe she would get lucky and he would die in a fight with some A people so she wouldn't have to worry about him anymore, but she knew that wasn't going to happen. Everyone knew she hated him but they didn't know it was as bad as it was. He was the only one who if he caught her by surprise could most likely kill her. The thought of hanging around a guy who could kill her freaked her out. So she tried to be friendly with Nella and sometimes Ivy so if he did try stuff she could probably have backup. She really couldn't trust anyone, so she wasn't very fond of their little group. She was usually nice, well as nice as Daravia gets, to Nella, and she was neutral around Ivy, but she sometimes tried to be mean to Caleb to seem more intimidating I guess. Blah you guys probably dont care about this stuff I'm just making this post longer XD

Re: Dark Nights.
Nella.
Nella was sitting quietly behind her little tree playing with her spear when she swore her name was being called. Then there was scilence, so she shrugs it off and continues with her spear. But then it is called again, much clearer this time, so Nella hops off the ground and sprints towards the voice. After a few seconds of running she spots 2 farmilliar faces, and she smiles at them. Caleb was facing backwards at the time, so she leaps onto his back and holds on tight. This annoyed the hell out of him, so she had made it a mission to do it as much as possible. Caleb was like her older brother, under the curcimstance that this was an allience instead of a simple sibling relationship, so like a sister she annoyed him from time to time:) "Hey." Nella says cheerfully, smiling at the rest of her group.
Caleb was the only guy in the group, which made Nella like him from day one. Its not like she's not allowed to have a little eye candy, right? Anyway. His i dont give a crap attitude made him fun to mess around with, which added a little joy to the current situation. He was a great fighter too, which made her feel safe around him. And added on top of all this was the fact that he was hot, which gave her a thing to look at once and a while;) if your picking up what im putting down. hah.
Ivy was her second favorite. She was very smart, and came up with plans to help our side win the war pretty much every second. She set traps, which helped catch the food for Nella to took. She was also super nice to the rest of the group, and she didnt think she would be killing anybody in their sleep anytime soon. That was her major problem with alliances, the fact that anybody could easily slit your throat in a second. Too much trust, I guess.
Her last favorite was Daravia. She was nice to Nella sure, but she was all bad-ass and all 'I could kill every person here in a second. It would be so easy.' and all cocky like that. She was always talking about blood and death and Nella got grossed out when she talked. This girl had no boundaries or something. But it did have an upside having Daravia in their little group, if anybody tried to mess with them she would take them out in a second. Staying alive was the key here.
"So my fellow group members! Guess what I did! I made my spear all pink and beautiful! See. Look at it." Nella says quietly, holding her spear out with the hand she wasn't using to hold on to Caleb. "Tada! I know im just so talented, hold the applause."
Re: Dark Nights.
"Okay," Ivy's voice dropped to almost a whisper. Being younger than the others, she was surprised that she gained so much respect from the group. Out of the group, Daravia made her the most wary, though, just due to her nature. Ivy sometimes wondered if she had voices in her head telling her to nuke everyone all over again.
It was a miracle that so many people survived the first radiation explosion. And it's a bigger surprise that no one is dropping dead from radiation poisoning now.... Maybe all those myths about radiation poisoning were just make believe..?
"Do we have the numbers? If we do have the numbers, we could attack again. I know that it wasn't too long ago that we had that blood bath and we're down a few really good fighters, but..." she paused to think, "if Side Z is down more, do you think it's worth a shot? Wait, how many do we have over here total? Able bodies." It had to be more than thirty some. Thirty was plenty for them to war. It only got scary when their numbers dropped down to twenty last year. Besides that, they didn't have to worry.
Why such the low number? It was only a small area. Probably somewhere in the other side of the world, they had their own war or whatever crap. Ivy didn't know. Internet was something of the past, something that would never exist again. She remembered only a few years back that she could communicate with someone miles away in just seconds. Actually, it was less than that. It was those things: internet, television, radio, cars. Those things didn't exist anymore. The radiation bomb blew it all up. How the woods survived, she didn't know. Maybe it was some radiation that only jacked up metal. Eco-friendly XD
"Caleb, do you think we can do it?" As much of a ruthless killer he was, Ivy realized that he was level-headed. Daravia was more impulsive. Nella...was just Nella. The other two probably thought she was a nut, but she could be smarter than she portrays herself. Ivy couldn't tell, and it always had her wondering. The two had never actually talked, other than "hello" or something along the lines. She only ever did strategize with Caleb, for she trusted him the most. He had a reputation, nonetheless. And he put the group together, so he must've trusted each person because of a specific reason.

Re: Dark Nights.
Caleb frowned when Nella jumped on his back and shrugged a bit to get her off, "Nice of you to join us." He mumbled and looked at Daravia and Nella. "We're going to attack soon." He told them both.
Caleb looked at Ivy and shuddered a bit replaying the blood bath in his mind. It was Side Z vs Side A and it was the worst bloodbath yet. Tons were killed, Side A got the worst of it though. In the beginning, Side A had most of the tough fighters on their teams that had no guilty consciense. Side Z though, had very smart people, strategically anyways. They knew what they were doing, how to set traps, climb trees, etc etc. Side Z had killed most of Side A's competitve fighters by hiding in trees and setting their traps. They hid pretty well, and used camoflauge skills as well. They blended right into the tree, it was like they were actually apart of the damn thing!
"I think it's about 15-20 people on Side A, and 17-23 on Side Z. I know we can dominate Side Z though, because we have got a good combination of people now. All the distractions are off of our team, so now we can get down to buisness. I remember killing one boy who could jump from tree to tree everywhere, the one that set the traps. I killed him a couple nights ago when he tried to steal our food. I know a few threating on their though, like that girl who gets their food. Her names Julliete, I heard about her from the others on their. They don't know how to keep their mouths shut on their methods, thats for sure." Nothing here stayed a secret, so Caleb really couldn't be talking. "She is great with a bow, so check the tops of trees. There's also a boy there who can throw, he usually throws boulders, so make sure you're not in plain sight all the time."
He looked at Ivy, "In all honesty? Yes, I do believe we can do it. If we don't bunch up all together, but also watch eachothers backs, yes. I do believe we will loose a couple members though."

Re: Dark Nights.
Daravia
"Nice job coloring it," she said to Nella. When Ivy brought up the last bloodbath she almost laughed. It was so stupid how all those people freaked out and tried to escape and survive. When you're going to die, you might as well try to do it peacefully. I mean, there's no escaping death. Everyone dies at one point, and when you're about to die it should be clear to you. Killing people was a sad and terrible thing, and somewhere in the back of her mind Daravia knew it. She had repressed her emotions in order to stay on top of everything and always be alert. Always look out for yourself, nobody else. Daravia remembered her mother. Her mom and dad were newlyweds when the whole side thing started. Her dad went to side Z and her mom went to side A and took Daravia with her after a series of fights with her husband. Daravia's mom died protecting her. This taught Daravia that she could only protect herself. Protecting anyone else would get them both killed. Her own father was the one who killed her mom. He would've killed Daravia too, and he almost did, but when he looked at her he saw something of himself in her and after all, she was his child. His blood ran through her veins. So instead of killing her, he let her go. She never saw her father after that, and sure as hell hoped he died a terrible painful and long death. She used these memories and emotions to her advantage though. She thought of everyone on side Z as bloodthirsty devils like her father. Thinking of her father just made her mad. She wanted to avenge her mother's death, and eliminating side Z was how she would do it. While her hatred for side Z grew stronger, so did her hatred of people overall. After all, anyone could turn out to be like her father. Thinking like this sparked the rage built up inside her and she could hardly wait for another bloodbath. She listened to Caleb and took some mental notes before nodding. "A few casualties is nothing. Lets just make sure it's none of us," she told them. They were all going to have to die someday, but Daravia wasn't about to let that day be someday soon. "So do we have a plan or what?" she asked, turning to Ivy.

Re: Dark Nights.
Nella.
Nella wrinkles her nose and tries to understand what Ivy is saying about fighting. She personally hated when the sides faught directly against each other, because it was every man for himself. Or every girl for herself, you catch my drift. Nobody had her back, and if she died she becomes just another number. "If we want direct fighting, the whole side needs to be in on it. That'll take hours of convincing, at least. If we really want to do this we better make the decision quick." She adds in, smiling proudly at her contribution. It was the smartest thing she had said in a while! Smart mood coming on folks:) "We should try to go head on. Right onto their side, quickly as possible. Maybe in the morning when everybody is asleep? The element of surprise would help us a lot."
The last direct fight had been weeks ago. Hundreds on both side had been lost, including Nella's best friend Rachel. Not to mention the cuts and injuries she had collected, and the weapons she had lost. She was running through the woods one day when she came across Ivy, and she secretly followed her back to the group. There she met Caleb and Daravia who had allowed her to be part of their little alliance. They watched out for each other, and protection was one thing Nella really needed. She was more handy than strong, with her cooking and creative skills, but she was quick and good with a spear. Another thing Nella had in her favor was the fact that nobody thought of her as a threat, and she could come out of nowhere and be like 'Wwaapppaa!' :) heh.
"So. If were attacking, I need my beauty sleep too. Gotta look good when your the last thing somebody sees before they die!"
Re: Dark Nights.
"Will they suspect it?" Ivy wondered aloud. No, no they couldn't. They couldn't risk a day time attack. Everyone knew that sides war at night, but it was the best strategy. They couldn't see, they won't be alert. The people will be tired from the day's work. "Can we attack tonight? I know it's really short notice, but I'm afraid that they're sensing something over here. I saw the girl in the tree earlier, and she was real close to the border. I don't know if she saw anything." The thought made her sick. Spies. Given the chance, Ivy would love to shoot her neck out just like that. Maybe even lengthen her kill time and make her suffer. Teach those trash not to spy on Side A...
They couldn't go head on. Not like last time. Last time, all of the Side A fighters charged in right across the border. "We have to think smart. They'll have traps for sure. Remember last time? They hid in trees and picked us off one by one. We don't have the numbers going in this time." What could they possibly do? It was a foreign land to her, and to most others, she was sure. And what if they decide to go with a gang tactic this time? If they all gang up on one, that one would be dead easy. There was no fighting chance. "And I think we should group together. We'll have a bigger chance, you know? I know there's a big risk of them seeing us better, but the benefits have to outweigh the consequences." Plus, they were attacking at night. People can't see at night!
Ivy shuddered at the thought. Tomorrow, she could be gone from this spot. Gone as in dead gone. Nella's comment sent a chill up her spine. "Gotta look good when your the last thing somebody sees before they die!" What about looking good if that's the last thing they see before they kill...what about that? huh. Death was a nasty subject. She, too, masks her emotions in the situation. It's kill or be killed. The saying was so cliched, but it rang true as always. As always. No, it wasn't always. It was hard to believe that the war had only been happening for a few years. It seemed like a lifetime.
She wanted to ask, "Are you scared?" but refrained from doing so. It would make her seem weak. Weak. Too weak for their advantage. They wouldn't view her the same. Ivy hated to sound so serious all the time, always strategizing and never living. Living. Huh, was that some joke? There wasn't time for that anymore. Time...
Instead, she found the following question escape her lips: "Are you ready?"

Re: Dark Nights.
"Tonight? But that leaves us only a few hours to plan, a few hours to tell everyone on Side A about our idea, and only a few hours to get all our weapons ready." He was on edge right now, and he was sure everyone could see it. To many thoughts were swirling through his mind at the moment and he shut his eyes and leaned against the tree sighing. He didn't care anymore if they saw him like this, the angrier and more he let it out, the more scarier he looked, and he wanted all of them scared of him, despite their alliance right now. When the last person on Side Z was stabbed, hit, crushed, whatever, he would kill them off one by one, starting with Daravia.
He gave it some thought though and sighed nodding. "Tonight. It's the only time. They are probably suspecting like you said. We have been quiet for to long, but they won't suspect today right? We can't loose our tough status, not now. We need to attack, and if attacking tonight is what we have to do, they we will do it."
Caleb looked at Ivy and sighed, "I don't think we are ever going to be ready, Ivy." Caleb stated, shaking his head. "I'm not ready to die, are you guys ready to die? If so, then die, but I won't be dying. Not tonight, not tomorrow, not for a long time. I want to be one of the last to survive." He commented with pride and bit his lip. An awkward silence passed on them as they thought of what Caleb said 'I want to be one of the last to survive'. They knew not all of them will survive, and it was a wonderous thing to know who will die and who won't. Caleb guessed Daravia would be most targeted along with Caleb, so they will probably die sooner or later.
"We need to start by telling all of Side A. I want Nella to go and make some pink weapons or such, and then make some food. We are going to need it, after this. I want you to make food enough for the whole team to munch on, and anything that will give us energy. Daravia, I want you to scrape up all the weapons you can and set them up, hide them, but make it reachable for someone who can't climb trees or is afriad of heights. Ivy, I want you to go and tell everyone about the plan. Make sure you keep a bit quite when you do it, and keep safe from flying arrows from tree girl on Side Z. I'll be spying on Side Z, don't worry about me." He knew they weren't worrying though.
"Got it? Break."

Re: Dark Nights.
Daravia
She clenched her fists when Caleb started telling people what to do. Who did he think he was?! Certainly not their leader. She shoved him backwards and got all up in his face. Then she pulled out her switchblade and flicked it out so it was inches away from Caleb's neck. "I don't care what the hell you want me to do, you can't just go around telling everybody what to do like you're the boss or something. I don't take orders from anyone, especially not an annoying self centered jerk like you," she practically groweled at him. "I think I will go spy on side Z and you can go find some stupid weapons because I have everything I need for myself right here. Since you're the one who needs some weapons you can go get them yourself instead of telling other people to do it for you," she fumed, shoving Caleb backwards once more. "Don't ever tell me what to do ever again or I'll circumsize you in your sleep," she threatened. She would take orders from no one and do what she wanted. Just because Caleb thought he was such a hot shot didn't mean he could just decide what everyone was going to do.

Re: Dark Nights.
Caleb growled and brought his hands back and shoved her to the ground, and rested his foot on her chest. He had a small cut on his neck now that was bleeding lightly and stung a bit, but it wasn't that bad, he could manage it. Caleb had more muscle and strength, so it wasn't hard to push Daravia to the ground. He knelt his face close to her, furrowing his brow at her and shaking his head "Who the fuck do you think you are coming at me like that, little girl? I don't care if you've got daddy problems or not," He snapped, "I will not be pushed and threatend by a girl like you. This is no time for your stupid games, we've got a war to fight."
Caleb pushed harder on her chest with his army boots, his brown hair hanging his face. "I will, and am not afriad to kill you. Trust me, I would right now, but it's not the time to do it. You will be the first I will kill if I ever have the chance, I could kill you now if I wanted to." He shook his head, "But I won't." He removed his foot, and breathed in and then out heavily, and let his hand out to offer to help her up.
"If you ever go near me with your knife again I will cause permenat damage to you. Just letting you know."

Re: Dark Nights.

She squirmed under his shoe and narrowed her eyes at him. She stayed quiet and took his hand when he offered it to her. She stood up and waited a second to see his triumphant look. Then she leaned in towards his ear. "FUCK YOU!" she screamed, bringing her knee up and smashing it between his legs as hard as she could. "Thats for acting like an asshole and calling me a little girl," she groweled. She whirled around and took off running towards the boarder. Out of everything he said, she was used to criticism about her dad. She was going to find him and kill him someday if he wasn't already dead. The part that really pissed her off was being called a little girl. She refused to be seen as inferior to anyone. She was just as good a fighter as Caleb and he knew it. In a fight they would probably both wind up dead. She dismissed his threats. It wasn't like she didn't already know he wanted to kill her. After all, she wanted to kill him too. She got to the boarder and hid behind a tree for a moment. She pulled her side A jacket out of her bag and swung it backover her shoulder. Then she headed into side A territory to see how things were going over there.

Re: Dark Nights.
Nella.
So they were attacking tonight. Oh goodness. This gave Nella no time to prepare, no time to sharpen her weapons.. Nothing. But she shakes these thoughts from her head so she can think clearly, and listens to every word they say for once. Nella needed all the information she could get. Her life was on the line here. She was told to cook food, and even though that wouldn't be her first choice she knew it would help in a great way. So when Caleb says break, she grabs her pink spear and takes off running. Looking for animals, berries.. anything. Along the way she kills a few squirrels and holds them by the tail as she runs, and holds some strawberries and blackberries she had picked in her hand. But this wouldn't be close to as much food as Side A needs, so she places them up in a tree and takes off looking again.
Thankfully she found 2 deer wandering around an abandoned field, or she would have nothing. Nella cooks them over a lighted fire she found behind the house, and a dead body was lying right next to it. The blood was fresh, but the killer was nowhere to be found so Nella approved it safe. She placed the body a few hundred feet away, stealing the backpack from his back and his bottle of water, and gets to cooking the food. The deer would give the team more than they needed, but along with the 3 squirrels and basket of berries they would have a little extra. The people needed that, with all the fighting and such they would be doing. Nella was pretty skilled in cooking if she did say so herself. She found a few stocks of chives growing by the lake, so she used them as a small bit of flavoring in the deer. Not that anybody would notice, but it made her feel better about her contribution to the team. After everything finishes cooking Nella places the food in a small basket found in the backpack, and heads off for the house.
As she's walking, Nella thinks of the fight. Nobody expected her to fight, but for some reason she wanted to. The adrenaline of being on the front line, the proudness you felt when you made it out alive. She wanted to feel
that, even if she died in the process. Nella brings the food to the house and places it on the floor, figuring somebody would find it and tell all their friends. She just kind of wanders for a while after, finding herself right up against the side Z boundary. "Should I go. No. I'll die for sure. No." Nella says to herself, taking a step back. But then she gets that rush she had been hoping for, and her heart gets excited. "I gotta do it. I gotta." She finally decides, and before she steps over the line she scans the area. Nobody in the trees, on the ground.. She was clear. Nella takes the first step across the line and squeals to herself, but stops quickly. She has to be super quiet, unless she was making a death wish.
Nella ducks down close to the ground, crawling on the ground quickly. She ducks behind trees, hides in bushes, and often catches a little piece of somebody's conversation. She decides to stay fairly close to the boundary line, so she can make if over to familiar ground if needed. Nella hides in a small bush, her little blonde head barley visible.
Good time to bring my trav trav ab boy in. (: i need him. k.
Re: Dark Nights.
Why argue when there were much more productive things to do? Fighting amongst themselves will be the death of them. Was she scared of the two? Of course. Personally, Ivy would've just swallowed her pride and did as she was told....and this she did. The last blood bath lasted almost 41 hours, although most of the fighting was done by the first six or so hours of darkness. If this one was expected to last just as long, she would need to conserve her energy and protect herself against the natural elements.
After she had eaten her share, Ivy met back up with the group. Her hair was clipped up neatly on the sides of her head, for it was too short to tie up. She dressed in a tight fitting shirt and dark cargo pants, tucking the legs into her boots. Throwing on her Side A jacket, Ivy went over to check the availability of weapons. Luckily for them, they weren't short any. Her preference went to the daggers. Why? She was too physically small to make full use of a melee weapon that required close combat. A bow was much to large, and her aim with a slingshot was too poor. Everyone always wondered why she didn't grab a gun. Truthfully, Ivy felt that someone could probably shoot better than her. Plus, gunpowder for ammo was hard to come by nowadays, so wasting shots would be a detriment to her. And guns give off location real nice. Heh.

Something felt odd. It just...wasn't right. Chris awoke to find himself breaking out in a cold sweat. No, it couldn't be so soon. Not after the last attack. Side A didn't have enough to go war again like that. It did them better to just pick off Side Z one by one, he assured himself. But it still just didn't feel right. Maybe he was just over thinking it and needed some water.
Well, that was just swell. There was no clean water left in his water tank. Maybe he could go ask someone for a drink. They shouldn't mind, for it was only a drink. The thought of relying on someone's charity irked him quite a bit, even if it was something this small. Maybe it was because it was something this small that he comes knocking on someone's door. Grabbing his jacket, Chris rose from his position and made his way to some neighbor. He made sure to carry his weapon with him. It was nothing more than a section of a sturdy branch, but it was something. Certainly, it wasn't something that he could kill with. Maybe if he attached a spear head to it, then it might pass as a short spear...
"Hello? It's Chris." He had to be careful, picking his path. Picking the wrong road could lead to serious problems, like a sighting by spies. Julliete was doing a nice job spying for Side Z thus far. From her description, Side A was a mess. Mess as in completely disorganized since the last blood bath. It was true, Side Z had taken out their leader figure. He wondered who stepped up to fill that position. It couldn't have been the dagger boy, for he often was alone. Of course, there could be the potential option that no one was willing to accept the leader role...but Chris found that a little hard to believe.
