Well, it means that the site can't load the picture, for instance, if you took the picture off of a site like photobucket, and you didn't have the URL to it's direct link, (Like when it's the only thing on the page, surrounded by whiteness) then it wont load because it doesn't know which picture you want, or what it's supposed to load. Hope that helped!
