She felt worse about herself. She slumps over and walks into

Sky sat down at the kitchen table. She had her elbows on the table
and she had her face in her hands, still sobbing.

Aaron walked over to her, picked her up, sat down and pulled her onto his lap. He had his grip on her tight but not uncomfortable. He let her cry.

Sky's Dad woke up and walks downstairs and saw Aaron. He had heard Sky crying and saw him on his knees. "Sky, answer him so I can sleep."

Sky shook her head and says nothing.

that her dad was staring at her, hoping and praying she said
