When Mandie heard someone talking, she automatically shut up. Then when she realized that the boy was talking to her, she closed her eyes, trying to disappear from the tree. Trying to blend in with the branches and the trunk. "Umm..... No" Yeah, maybe if she gave him straight forward answers it would make him go away. Or show him that she had no interest in talking to anyone right now. But, her curiosity kicked in, and she looked down at him. He was looking up at her, and once she realized that, she looked away. She looked away so fast that you would've thought she was looking at something scary. But she wasn't, she was just looking at a boy. One who, if she got to know well enough, had the potential to break her heart, all over again.

Max nodded, a smile spanning his face. "Yeah, lets go." He swung open the door, holding it open for Jynx. Once she walked out, he followed her, closing the door behind him. He walks a bit faster to catch up with her, and he ends up walking next to her. "So, where're we going to walk to?"

Jessy: Sh also smiled. "I hope your not thinking that I am one of the people that arent." She laughed softly.

Jynx: She smiled. "There is a trail that leads to a small water fall and pours into a small lake, which leads into the lake by the mansion.... I was thinking we could swim by the waterfall." She didn't add that no-one else knew about the waterfall. Well, she suspected that Jace knew but Jace was Jace and nobody was ever sure about anything with him.

Mandie nodded and looked forward, staring blankly at her feet. "Yeah, nice to meet you..." He was actually making an effort to talk to her? Surprising... No one ever seemed to want to talk to Mandie. She wasn't used to it... So when people made an effort, she usually came off as rude, or unsocial. But in all reality, she was just not used to being talked to. Which was very sad, but true.

Max nodded and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Sounds good, and fun." He walked next to Jynx, but sort of followed her. He obviously just moved here, and he didn't know where anything was. He learns quick though, and he would pretty much remember where anything is. He just needed someone to show him. And he was glad that Jynx was the one to show him around. She seemed nice, and friendly. She would be a good friend.

Mandie looked down at him, and then back at her feet. Great, so now he wanted her name? Didn't that mean that technically she would have to talk to him? Ugh, fine... "Mandie. Mandie Anderson." She leaned her head back on the tree trunk, her right leg still hanging off the tree branch. But her left leg was now laying flat on the branch instead of bent.

Max smiled at the fact that Jynx seemed happy. "Soo... Tell me about yourself. How long have you been here? What's your favorite color? Where did you live before? Any more questions that I missed?" He chuckled and walked along, looking from the ground, to the surrounding, to Jynx, and then back around the cycle.
