Akira: "okay im going to go change" goes and changes into her racing silks then goes to weigh in, she comes back, "okay...time to go.." she tacks him up and walks him out of the stables and mounts him for the post parade

Akira: they get loaded into the #3 gate and she waits for the bell, the bell rings and they shoot out onto the track, she pulls Champion over to the rail where the track is fastest

Akira: she kept Champion at the back of the field so that he wouldn't get boxed in then when they were closer to the finish she raced him around them and into the lead, he ran faster when a gray pulled alongside him and won by 4 lengths

Akira: she smiles and stands up in the stirrups to slow him they slowed and she trotted towards the winner's circle and they stopped by Layla,"come on! we need the trainer to be at the winner's circle too," she smiles
