Jadrien smiled at the girl who came over. He liked the way the other girls scattered when she approached. Definitely more interesting than those clones he had been talking to. He flipped his bangs out of his eyes again and bit his lip ring as he raked his eyes over her. She was quite nice looking. Just his type. Fiery personality. Dangerous and reckless huh? Perfect. He grinned and stood up, pulling his bike up with him so he was doing a wheely (spelling?) in place. "I'm Jadrien. It's nice to meet you Roje."

Emily? XD It was a name that I used on a character skeleton before that never really became much of anything. That's so cool! I'll take it that you're not as spazzy as this Emily, right?

Atala grinned. "Ohmygosh! Zack's back!" She didn't stop to notice that she had just rhymed. She was too pumped that her crush was back. She quickly ran her fingers through her hair, hoping she looked okay. She glanced down at her bikini and frowned. "Crap! I don't have time to change!" She ran back to her stuff and slipped on her shorts (Which were very short, by the way) then she came back. "Okay. Let's go." She had her bag slung over her shoulder and she pulled her sunglasses back down over her eyes.

Roje asked if he would like to get outta the park and she whistled, her white and black spotted marmaduke came along with her skateboard and she took it, praising her dog, then she told Jadrien that his name was Luke.

Jadrien smiled and put down his bike, reaching over to pet Luke. "Hey buddy," he murmured to the big dog. He then straightened up and nodded to Roje. "Yeah. Let's get outta here." He turned his bike and stood up, pedaling slowly out of the park. "Where we headed," he asked, looking back at her. He rode with no hands. As he got to the curb he put his hands back on the bike and did a fancy hop/turn off the sidewalk and onto the street.

The two girls rushed out, hardly remembering to shut the gate. Peeking in from a distance, they saw Zack and a few friends, old and new. He was still the same charming, yet dorky kid, only now he was way through that voice crack phase and had gained a couple inches. Must be fantastic for him, she was sure. Must be even more fantastic for Atala. If she was infatuated with him then, Emily saw no reason for her to be even more obsessed now. She wouldn't be surprised to see his face on some Seventeen magazine. "Do you think he remembers you?" she asked her friend.

Roje smiled and grabbed her dogs collar, and telling him to follow the boy, he did as she stood on her skateboard. Then she stopped at the curb and looked at the street "Bike park. I'll use my skateboard like a boss." she laughed and told her dog to go when the road was clear and she told Luke to go. He seemed pretty excited since he loved watching her skate around "its awesome there, I see and beat people up there all the time." she said it with no problem and there was a messed up sidewalk, she bent down and jumped with her skateboard still on her feet and she landed it "years of practice does do somethin."

Atala's face fell slightly at Emily's question. She wasn't so sure. Would he remember her? She readjusted the bag strap on her shoulder and shot a glance over at Zack and his friends. "Am I supposed to just walk over and say hi? Or should I wait for him to come to me?" She sneaked another glance, hoping her nervousness didn't show too much. She had been totally obsessed with him back in her freshman year. She bit her lip. "It's been years. He probably won't remember me." She was a senior now. It had been about two years. Surely he couldn't remember her, right? They hadn't had much interaction. It had been more of a 'observe from a distance' crush.

Small town. Something tragic has come up on the news about something that happened here and now the town is getting a crap load of press coverage. Some people like it because their face is on national tv. Others find it invasive and don't want the media poking into their quiet town life. And the other set of people don't care one bit.

Emily puckered up her lips in thought. "I don't really know," she replied. She was much more outgoing than Atala, but that fact hasn't been able to keep the two girls apart ever since Emily moved to the town in second grade. "Don't be silly, I'm sure he'll remember you. There are people who I've sworn I've never seen before who remember me from somewhere." But again, Emily also had been playing years of softball and had landed a job in a popular clothing store, giving people plenty of places to have seen her around. "But you'll never know if you don't ask," she winked, nudging her friend.

Jadrien's bike jerked as he hit the brakes quickly. "What?!" He slowed so he rode next to her. "You beat people up? Dude, that's so not cool." He rolled his eyes. Wow. Just as he thought this girl was perfect. Oh well. He'd try to cure her of this habit. He rode no handed again and led the way to the skate park. He loved showing off his moves. Especially to a girl.

Roje looked at him "I dont beat them up for fun! Im not that stupid!" she rolled her eyes "They pick a fight and swing first, I go in for the hit. I wont be pushed around. Why do you think some people in that park avoid me. Because they know if they pick a fight with me that they would lose. " Once they got to the bike park, she got off her board and she walked to Luke and kneeled in front of him "whos a good boy?" she laughed as he licked her face "yes, you are." she kissed his head "He chills around so he'll be okay."
