VILLAGE IN THE SKY.

The horrible tragedy was all over the news. An unnamed person had accidentaly created a deadly disease while trying to find a cure for cancer. The disease reportedly eats away at people from feet to head, making them immobile and their deaths long, slow, and painful. It was later discovered this disease is transmittable through contact with dirt and sand. Even the smallest pinch of dirt can kill a healthy adult. The disease traveled among the entire earth. No cure for this disease could be found, and millions of casualties resulted. Those who remained untouched by the disease quickly resorted to building a city high in the sky, supported by steel poles holding up a large metal platform welded numerous times to become a giant structure to build small homes and stores atop.

You are one of those survivors now living in the small village above the ground. Anyone outside the village on the ground is dead by now. The disease remains on the ground where it cannot reach any of the people in the village. The only things to eat must be grown from artificial purified dirt, and is no tasty treat.

When you're living up in the sky, your whole family dead, things happen to you, your mind begins to get a little off. Maybe that's why all these deaths are starting to happen around here. Children, teenagers, and adults are having mysterious deaths by who knows who. All we know is that this guy is a little off, but who isn't when they have to live every day fearing for their life? Watching loved ones die? The few deaths that have happened are posted on the wall, a little memorial.

Jennifer Rhode: Only 14 years old, she unexpectedly "fell" down to the ground and was consumed by the disease, assuming she survived the fall. Her screams awoke several and she was the last surviving of the Rhode's.
Rick Wrile: A young man, about 18 years old, was shot in the head. The gun was found, but all prints were cleaned off. He was enganged to a Mrs. Annable Wrile who is still healing from her fiancee's death.
Maybelle Annistine: Stabbed seven times in the chest. None of her family had anything to say about the death and haven't been seen since. Though it is rumored her mother jumped off the building from insanity.

All murders are assumed to have been committed by the same person, and at this point, all trust among the people is disappearing fast. Nobody knows who will be next, why these people are being killed, or who is killing them.

Watch your back, and pray you survive the village in the sky.
