National Day Of Silence

April 19, 2012 and/or April 20, 2012 (many websites have tomorrow as the national day but almost my entire school is celebrating it today so Im just going to participate both days. So if you didnt hear about DOS today then you can do it tomorrow)

For those of you who havent heard already, today is National Day of Silence. National Day of Silence is a day to protest the bullying of gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgenders.

Whether you believe it is okay or not to be gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender doesnt matter. What matters is that they are people too and nobody deserves to be bullied.

Many of my friends and I are participating in this Day of Silence and I just wanted to tell you all about today in case you werent aware and would like to participate.

All you have to do is be silent. You may speak when told to by teachers but with your friends you dont talk and instead if you need to communicate with your friends you write to them.
