Jay: She made her way into the kitchen. She had never had someone else in her house before. "I apologize for it being such a mess...." She said as she looked in the pantry for some brownies she had made the day before.

Jay: She faintly remembered that they were at her house, alone with each other. Alone. She wasn't sure if he actually wanted to get very far right now. She tried to feel for some sign that he did, or a sign that he didn't.
