Jay: She just ran. Soon she came to a small clearing about 10 miles away. She slowed down and stopped, then looked around. When she turned all the way, it was visible that her eyes were now fuly changed. That terrifying beauty was back. Then she froze. She had caught scent of something. A sound reached her ears, the sound of pushing through the undergrowth, two voices laughing and jabbing at each other. Hikers. She smiled. It was all danger and play, with none of the Jay that she was earlier.

Ash: He reached the clearing. He watched her then heard the hikers,"oh no.." he needed to get them away from here. But he had no idea where they were.

Jay: She started running, but not at full speed. More or so, it was like a jog. She was headed north. The hikers couldn't be more than 2 miles away.

Jay: She reached the trail and stopped, then stepped out on it, looking like any 17 year old lost in the woods. The hikers were about 50 yards down the trail, coming towards her.

Ash: He watched. He didn't know where the hikers were so he waited.

The voices quieted when they saw Jay, who really was looking like she was lost. She was frozen on the trail. The hikers started moving a little faster up the trail. Soon they were about 35 yards away. "Hey! You lost babe?" One of them called. They were both about 20 years old. Each had a loving family and a home and people that would be torn apart if their children never came home. But none of that came into Jay's mind. She was to concerned about how she would get both of them.

Jay: He looked on her face faultered and she didn't look at Ash. "Ash... What are you doing here?! Please, go! I don't want to hurt you!" Her voice was desperate.

Hikers: About 27 yards away.

Jay: She looked down at the hikers. Her Incubus was saying to push Ash aside and take all 3. But her love for Ash was battling the Incubus side. She nodded, and backed off the path.

Hikers: "Hey man, is she lost?" They yelled up at Ash.

Jay: She had walked a little farther with her back towards Ash.
